Funny how no one notices the cracks until something finally shatters.
My ex loved metallic rings, so I bought him one while we were still dating. I never got the chance to give it to him because of the long distance. Even after we separated, I didn’t throw it away. It just stayed in my wardrobe, where no one ever looked.
One day, I noticed it had broken into five separate pieces, each developing its own magnetic polarity. Every piece repelled the others, exactly from where they once connected.
The ring refused to be whole again. Not all broken things can be fixed.
To accept, or not to accept—that is the question. And I am learning to accept that too.

to be seen without performing. to be heard without screaming. to be missed without disappearing. to be enough without proving it. to be held without falling apart. to be understood without explaining. to be wanted without conditions. to be. to be.
How could I survive a shipwreck when I never even learned how to swim.

Sometimes, it's not betrayal by others that breaks us, it's the quiet, familiar sting of our own hand.
Life update: my fuck-up rate has increased.
Death is the only truth of life, yet the most dreaded.
Do we heal just to get hurt again? Perhaps. But healing doesn't guarantee protection. Every scar of yours tells a story of survival, not defeat. Pain may return, in new forms or old shadows, but each time, we rise more beautifully human.
I didn't realize how much I loved the rain until I was allowed to run into it.
Starting from 'Once upon a time...', my heart still seeks the '...and lived happily ever after.'

Some nights, the quiet feels less like peace and more like punishment.
But I still listen.
