I've gone from doing my story in a straight forward manner to now just writing a bunch of random scenes and later on mashing together what fits. In other words, I now treat it as a puzzle that I am trying to piece together.

Winter this year hasn't been the kindest to us. Thankfully, we went on a walk anyway, even though it was barely 10° ❄ Being outside truly cured me of all my woes. Wish we could have stayed out there longer. We had snow all over us by the end of it!

Emotional rant

The horrible people that bought our previous house didn't just buy a house. They bought memories. They bought our lives there. Everyday I am motivated in some way to recreate the life I had in that last house 🏠 To have a yard full of basil, oregano, mint, and flowers. To have a trampoline in the backyard to jump on and lay on to gaze up at the stars. To have a firepit made from rocks and stones gathered from adventures.

My next home doesn't have to be perfect, because you can't let perfect get in the way of something good. But it does have to have the magic of my last home.
