Hellooo beautiful and talented person :33
Your works taste like chocolate with whip cream and I want more of it :3 ESPECIALLY THOSE AYATSUJI POSTS OMG, that Ayatsuji post where reader is a dark empath? Omfg I want to see more of it
Can you headcannon Tsujimura meeting the dark empath reader? Ango meeting dark empath reader? Or like the aftermath of it all?
Reader being inspired by Will Graham is honestly chilling
A/N: Thank you!!! That's so sweet of you to say. I had been thinking on adding onto the Dark Empath reader story, so this is perfect. I suppose that this is the in-between of part 1 and a potential (not promising anything) part 2 (hence why I am calling this part 1.5) so I don't have to explain within the actual story how reader got away with it and was allowed to be Ayatsuji's assistant. Yes, I am lazy and dont want to explain in the story itself :)
Warnings: ehh.... none? Unless you count talks about the government , trials, and a mention or two about manipulation? If you see anything that should be warned about, please let me know.
Reader: Gender neutral, dark empath (part 1.5? After Ayatsuji brings reader to his agency)
Character: Mizuki Tsujimura, Ango Sakaguchi, and a bonus short oneshot
Original post that the asker is talking about
• She was a bit pissed when she saw that Ayatsuji had brought someone into his office to be his assistant, after he had run away from her and disappeared for hours.
• When she finally recognized you, she looked at Ayatsuji as if he was insane (but that's not much of a surprise).
• "Why would you bring them here!? You were supposed to hand them in!" She lectured the detective.
• "I was thinking we could make a plee deal for them, have their punishment be working for me," Ayatsuji explained.
• "They're a wanted criminal! They aren't exactly detective material!" She exclaimed.
• When the government decided to go along with Ayatsuji's plan (it took a while and a lot of reasoning, Ayatsuji convincing bullying/manipulating Ango into seeing why you would be better off working for Ayatsuji, and you spending a few nights in a cell) because they agreed with him that your abilities would be better off being used to help the government instead of rotting away in a cell, Tsujimura was flabbergasted.
• They actually agreed? How did you two pull that off?!
• She quickly realized that one of the main reasons they let Ayatsuji have you as an assistant (with a lot of supervision, of course) was because they couldn't actually find a way to charge you with any crimes. They knew what you were doing, but had no convicting evidence to actually throw you in jail.
• It was... an adjustment working together.
• When the three of you were out on a case and Ayatsuji would let you do some interrogating, it tookher a little while to see what you were doing, but when she did she was... quite off put to say the least.
• It would unnerve her at times how you would get into peoples heads, learn how they "work" and use that to your advantage.
• After figuring that out, she was a bit more "professional" towards you, but in the tense, uncomfortable, unfriendly type of way.
• It took her a while to warm up to you. To see you weren't all bad or completely manipulative. You had your good moments too.
• She even eventually started to see you as a friend (or more if that's what you want).
• He was officially introduced to you during the trials (mentioned in Tsujimura's part).
• He had to meet you before he could make any decisions, especially ones that would have him be putting his neck on the line by defend a person wanted by the government.
• Wasn't impressed by you at first. How had you hid from the government for so long? You didn't seem to be anything special.
• He decided to visit you a few times while you were in the hding cell. To understand your motives and all.
• He realized you were a type of "vigilante", but specifically against politicians you weren't fond of the actions of.
• No wonder you pissed so many powerful people off.
• He decided to help you (not because of the vigilante thing. He actually found that quite idiotic) under the conditions that you were to be under constant surveillance (not as extreme as Ayatsuji's, but still enough that any sain person would hesitate to straight out refuse) and you wouldn't try to do anymore framing politicians.
• He didn't think too much about you and your circumstances after the trials were over. He was too busy and stressed to think about a assistant detective he only met like four times and who was probably jus becoming Ayatsuji's personal butler/maid or something.
• He found out just how wrong when reports came back to him from Tsujimura about cases the three of you went on.
• Apparently you were actually helping with cases and that caught his intrest.
• He called Tsujimura for more information. His intrest grew (but his energy dropped realizing you may be a problem or be more... helpful to Ayatsuji).
• He would do an occasional check in (through call. Like I said, he is way too busy for much more. Actually that is a bit much already).
• If he were to be asked if he would be interested in getting to know more about you (even if he were to ask himself this), he would say no, but deep down he knows that's a lie.
Yukito Ayatsuji Loves to Order Around His Assistant
You hadn't expected this. It had already been a month since officially becoming that detective's assistant and he was driving you mad. He was treating you more like a servant than a assistant! He even tried to trick you into a maid dress (yes. Whether you are male, female, or somewhere in between, he tried) while even saying you might as well be his maid since you do everything he tells you to. It was infuriating! Of course you would. First of all he saved you from a life on the run or in prison, and second, YOU'RE HIS GOD DAMN ASSISTANT!
First it was subtle with orders to make him coffee. Simple and innocent enough. Then, it was to tidy up his desk. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Then it got stranger! Clean up the entire office, and to go grab him things from the store, most of which having nothing to do with work or at least getting him lunch!
You could see the amusement in his eyes. It was as if he was trying to see he could push it till you snapped. Did he want you to? It seemed like it sometimes.
Then there were the days he would actually let you help on cases or actually do some work even if it was boring things like doing his paperwork for him. Those days had your irritation lessen, even only a little.
It was interesting working for him. He definitely was a kind boss, but he wasn't cruel either. There was a piece of you that knew you wouldn't rather be anywhere else. You even had a friend who understood the troubles of working around Ayatsuji to share your woes with.
Maybe someday he will see you more as an equal, but for now you knew that wasn't happening anytime soon.
