#there is SO much potential for spirits getting wisped this chapter it’s crazy #I would be more suprised if none of them ended up tooled/partnered with a medium #I feel like fauxbia landing with someone new is inevitable. whatever happens to the sphinxes + doorman + nin is more up in the air #the fact that both rules-isabel and doorman-isabel partnership is possible fascinates me #update spoilers #edit: I also feel like if she gets paired with either of them it’d be a mediumship. she’s already 2 deep in the tools category #though I guess the image of her cycling through her toolbelt is a fun parallel to what ángel+Francisco are doing #whole family of tool hoarders

I just think it’s more likely that he gets-#popped/wisped or even eaten by Fauxbia #the only reason I’m hesitant is because I really don’t think they’ll get rid of Doorman as an active or capable of returning player until-#Francisco is able to confront him in some way. but I can also see it turning into a ‘missed your chance’ thing. I just think its less likely #((and I only think Isaac is safe from death because of the overall tone. so far only ghosts and spirits have been on-the-page killed.))#((so unless we want to monsterify the boy I don’t think anything other than maybe a significant injury would occur))

I wonder how DID manifests in mediums. like theres studies showing that alters can have their own traits like allergies and dominant hands, so would ~the world~ treat alters as different spirits or just different manifestations of the same soul (or whatever is within a person that allows them to become a ghost after death).. maybe the soul splits into pieces? is being a spectral based on your body? "prolonged exposure to supernatural and high citrus diet" imply physical but "near death experience" somewhat implies mental. could one alter have a different spectral colour from another?

#honestly the most compelling arguement in favor of this concept is whatever is up with Cryptide #she separates multiple facets of a single identity into distinct entities that play by their own rules #and the existance of the sphinx litter as well as righty implies that the separate identities stemming from a singular source don’t have to-#share spectral energy color #but whether or not this sort of thing can occur outside of that one specific circumstance is unclear #I like to think that since Walkers spirits bubble separates clothing and hair from a ‘person’ (allowing them to pass through the barrier)#that an individuals concept of their own personhood does come into play writ large in the spectral world #I also just like how the way mediumship is portrayed overlaps with system stuff already it’s very fun #sorry for the tag rambling o7

King Catnines design is so funny. His palms are stove top style electric coils. He has swirly nipples and implied external genitalia. He has crotch wings that serve the duel purpose of concealing said genitals and presumably helping him glide on his own air. His torso just kind of stops it doesn’t even taper off it’s just done. Sometimes he makes himself fake legs down there out of excess energy for fun or I guess to flex that he can. He is a lion made of clouds with defined biceps and a six pack.

The setting of Paranatural is like if you had a group of people working on a jigsaw puzzle, but each person decided to palm a dozen important-looking pieces and hide them under their bed so they can work on "the real puzzle" in secret. None of the people can figure out why the puzzle is taking so long.

#everyone in town has a superiority complex OR intense paranoia surrounding betrayal OR a martyr complex. or a mix of the three.

The second Johnny said last update that RJs the only one he trusts in this group I knew they’d be separated ASAP.

I am curious if Devilora or the sphinxes will notice Pacts powers in RJs interrogation or not considering the promise to not say anything will probably usurp whatever crime+truth try to force out.
