weird griefy saturday ranging from flipping off cybertruck downtown while trying to park to not finding the right planter hanging equipment to changing sheets to a summery print that reminds me of sleeping over at my grandparents' to painting the cubby where spock and lydia's ashes will go. just over three years since lydia died, coming up on three months without spock.

might go visit a cemetery tomorrow to find what's left of the guy in the middle here other than the books and papers left to mpow during the nixon administration

mouse is approaching 5 lb for maybe the first time ever, up 1.5 from the er two weeks ago! she has been working on muscle gains to fight spock's mice with jobs toys and climb inadvisable places

IN THIS HOUSE we are all on antibiotics

had to give mouse a bath last night due to the arrival of the antibiotic shits (still a few more days to go 💀) and she didn't recognize her scraggly wet tail

she is also trying to bury her food when there's probiotic mixed in, and in general has gained enough energy to become a menace, which is great except uh see above

we are at 1.75 baths because her hind feet needed a little soak when i got home but of course it couldn't be a little soak and 3 mini haircuts/pants hemmings and 2 little cat fangs sunk into my thumb later

mouse went upstairs yesterday afternoon to see me, which was overdoing it, and then between that and a thunderstorm, the mail arriving with a THUNK, and me administering three medications at once she dissolved into wobbles and shakes and hiding :(

i got her more food before going to bed, and she came back upstairs again to wake me up and complain that she had eaten it all and wanted more! thank you mouse power and veterinary medicine and spock's mini stairs and water fountain and probiotic powder still around

mouse ate the food i left out overnight which is fantastic. she needs mouse bites to live!
