“But, if I don’t come home tonight, assume i’m getting some. Nic’s in charge because I don’t trust Nessa’s judgement.”
“Didn’t you say that Nessa acts a lot like you when you were her age?”
“I’m not talking to you about my sex life.”
“Good.”
“I’m going to be honest with you, Tyler- I am terrible at math. I don’t know when they’re going to come in useful for you, but unfortunately, you have to show you know this stuff when you’re trying to get into college.”
Tyler rolled his eyes a little putting the paper back down. He’d adopted some of the sass from the Coach and Nessa. “I don’t even know what I wanna do, but it won’t involve exponents on fractions.” He announced simply, looking at his book for a moment before trying to work out the problems.
“That’s just, that’s ridiculous. Exponents on fractions, hmph.”
@imworthfivedollars
Tyler liked to believe he could be left home alone. But, the others in the house never really gave him the chance to prove it. They tended to be a group of mother hens when it came to the eleven year old. That included making sure the boy had a babysitter when none of them were able to keep an eye on him. Which was what led to Tyler sitting on the floor of the deputy’s living room working on homework. His school uniform tie untied and shirt collar unbuttoned, backpack sitting open beside him.
"This is stupid.” Tyler commented with a groan. “When am I gonna have to use exponents on decimals?” He turned to the elder and held up the paper so he could see the questions. “Or fractions, why are exponents on fractions even a thing?”
Reblog this post if you ARE okay with other muses commenting on your Asks/ Shenanigans /Posts
As an Roleplayer in the Tumblr community, I’m fine with other muses commenting on posts my muse makes or reblogging asks I’ve been sent with their own take on what was posted about. In fact, I LIKE IT! It’s fun! But I’m not sure who else wants that interaction on their RP blog like this- so if you reblog this I’ll know it’s okay to interact with your character this way.
(Just remember don’t re-blog RolePlay threads that aren’t yours! Usually those are between specific people, and outside people reblogging them makes it difficult to keep track of when their partner has responded. But re-blogging general posts and asks with in-character shenanigans? Do it! Let’s have some fun!!!)
If you do NOT want other Muses commenting on your general posts reblog THIS link instead.
“I can’t believe my kids are graduating this year..”
“I’m not.”

“I was aiming for the ducks, not tryin’ to hit them though.”
“I can’t see the future, how am I supposed to know that’s gonna happen? It’s not anyone’s fault that they get sick. It just happens. And all this little noodle has is me to pick him up usually.” He really should have held his tongue and just agreed but, he’d had a rough day both teaching and coaching so his filter had just up and left.
Ms. Warner was about to say something, but this time Tyler jumped ahead of her. “See? I told you. Cause Nic had to take his baby to the doctor and Nessa can’t drive yet.” Tyler moved to the coach’s side. “Ms. Warner was gonna call a deputy if you weren’t here soon.”
“Yeah I know, I’m sorry. There was a disaster at work, someone threw up on me so then I had to change before coming here. And then since they threw up, I threw u….” He started to trail off when he looked away from Tyler and met the other teacher’s gaze. Boy, did she look unhappy.
If the teacher, Ms. Warner, wasn’t there Tyler would comment that he could smell it. But, since she was there, he just sighed with a knowing look. Before he could say anything though, the teacher spoke up. “If you think you’re going to be running late, you really should call ahead or arrange for someone else to get him.”
@kindahategreenberg
“You’re late.” Tyler was sitting on a bench in front of the school, one of his teachers having been checking her watch. The boy hopped off the bench and grabbed his backpack, but didn’t move closer. The child adjusted his jacket and looked at his teacher. “I told you he’d get here eventually.”
The teacher on the other hand, a younger woman with an extremely well-groomed look to her, didn’t seem to share the same confidence that Tyler had.
There’s a lovely old English myth that if someone who truely loved and trusted the werewolf called it by name that it would turn back to human.
Others include throwing their human clothes at it and it’d turn back but that’s a bit less romantic
#ok i understand ppl would take the romancey route here#but imagine the werewolf’s mother#or grandmother#some wizened old woman or middle aged woman#with wrinkles or hands toughened from years of labor#just going out into the woods#where even the men with axes won’t go anymore#and facing down the ravening beast#and saying#it’s time to come home
Or the grandmother throwing the werewolf’s clothes at it and being all “God damn it Jerry, put your fucking clothes back on.”
I am right here for the grandma vs werewolf stories.

“Good thing no one but your psycho beta is attacking me then.”
“Who actually struck first? Nic owned up to the stun gun, but from how he explained it, it was to get you back in control of yourself.”
“Then maybe he shouldn’t be trying to teach people. Maybe he’s a doer not a teacher.” Because, those who can’t do teach, right? “I coulda taken him easily if he didn’t use weapons.”
“Maybe. I don’t know.” Tyler sighed in slight annoyance. “When you’re overly emotional you don’t think straight. You’re leaving weak spots open that you’d normally cover. Trust me on that.”
“Not from my pack.” If Stiles had taught him anything, it was to not trust anyone. Especially other wolves. “And I think his teaching methods are kinda… pushy. I don’t think he’s ever been to teacher’s college.”
"Nic doesn’t know a whole lot of other ways to teach people, his dad was really abusive. He had a nice lady that taught him piano but for stuff like this the only way he knows is his dad’s way. He’s too rough when it comes to this. I’ll talk to him about it.”
“He’s as tall as a giraffe… And I didn’t ask for his help. I don’t need anyone’s help. Especially not someone who tasered me and a five year old alpha. If I needed help, i’d go to Satomi.”
“Everyone needs help. If it wasn’t for Nic I’d be dead. I was caught by a hunter and tortured. And if it wasn’t for you Scott would be dead. We’re pack animals for a reason. That’s one thing he was trying to teach you.”
“If you mean that creepy giraffe guy, then yes.”
“Nic isn’t like a giraffe. He’s a duck. And that’s irrelevant. He was trying to help you. He still wants to help you. Scott hasn’t made the same mistakes Nic has, and he gets that your alpha can only help you so much.”
“Aren’t you like… five?”
“I’m eleven. And you didn’t answer my question. Did you attack my beta?”
