Can't stop thinking about the fact that Ena is a species and each of them were probably created to be thrown into a world where nothing makes sense and they're the only ones who have the morals and ideas that we do. So, when an Ena does lash out, her anger is either muffled or completely silenced by incomprehensible forces that won't allow her to speak.
Example (Footage from KeeTee on YouTube):
Also, right after this, she says "You know, I don't even believe in anything, but you're bleeding out some real bullshit here! You're a fluke!" The "I don't believe in anything" remark can mean that she has been programmed to perform certain tasks and feel a very limited amount of emotions, to the point where she doesn't have her own beliefs and she just listens to whatever her higher-ups say or tell her to do. Additionally, it is hard to understand that she said the word "fluke" unless you're looking at the subtitles, which could be another example of that "muffling" I mentioned earlier.
Lastly, that one scene in Dream BBQ when Ena is dismembered and croaks out that she "can't handle another minute of joy," showing that the world in which the series takes place has a very different definition of "joy" (and other positive emotions) than the Enas do (I.e.: the regular definition).
What I said probably makes no sense but I've been watching a lot of Ena content and analyzing the shit out of it lol.
I need them so much it's not funny anymore.
