Three years after their successful self-titled debut, James Mercer of The Shins and Brian Burton AKA Danger Mouse join forces once again as Broken Bells, with their sophomore effort entitled After the Disco slated for a January 14 release next year. Here we have the delicious first single off that record, the Bee Gees-channeling “Holding On For Life”. I guess we’ll just have to make do with that until the rest of the album comes out.

“Recover” by CHVRCHES

Scottish outfit Chvrches have released their latest electro-pop single, the title track of their upcoming EP Recover.

Recover will be released in the UK on March 25 via Virgin/Goodbye and in the US on March 26 via Glassnote.

One of my favourite bands to come out of good ol' Australia (not Hungary, despite the logical assumption), Hungry Kids of Hungary are the epitome of bubbly, fun indie pop that you just can't help bobbing your head to.
