Spotlight closure

It is with regret that Amanda and I have decided to close the roleplay as we feel that it’s come to an end. There are a mixture of reasons why the rp never succeeded but it’s best not to go down that route, we also have not been getting any new apps in.

We will keep the ooc blog and discord open for a short while so people can get in touch with others and then it will be closed for good. Amanda and myself do plan to open another roleplay in the future but we’re not sure what kind yet, so keep your eyes peeled in the Glee rp tags.

Growing up, Sam struggled with dyslexia. The classroom was never an environment he thrived in, so he found himself turning to other things, such as sports and music. His dyslexia is also the reason that he is so into comic books, as it is easier for him to digest stories in this format.

Sam’s family were also incredibly poor, and they were even homeless for a brief period, meaning that Sam had to become responsible a lot younger than most people did to look after his younger brother and sister.

Sam originally went to college in Seattle on a football scholarship and was set to go pro after he graduated. However, at the beginning of his senior year, he suffered a serious head injury during a game. After, he was diagnosed with PCS, and was unable to finish the season. Having lost scholarship, and having no money pay his tuition, he was forced to drop out of college.

Sam is at a crossroad in life. He has no idea what he wants to do now that his football career is over. Having no college degree makes matters worse. Not wanting to burden his family by coming home and adding to their financial woes, Sam took a job at the Spotlight Diner, just to use their apartments.

Hello to all staff, this is senior management. After some minor technical difficulties we have finally managed to get the app fully operational for those who work here.

You will have access to your rota, pay slips, job opportunities, list of deals available for those who are staff and get notifications of invites to any events that may happen while you are working with us. You will see what else is available when browsing.

Also for those who live at Spotlight Apartments, you will be able to contact facilities etc if a problem arises. One other thing, there is a map also listing local hot spots who have joined up giving staff discounts and places in Seattle so no need to get lost.
