These felt monarch butterfly pin cushions were hand printed with a hand carved stamp on my etching press. They are also hand sewn :)

This Windmill two-player game was played by the Romans and has been found carved into ancient stones. The game was known as "Mola Rotunda" (round millstone). The design for the pouch was inspired by Pliny the Elder's (an Ancient Roman author and natural philosopher) view on hedgehogs. The hedgehog is a Roman symbol of knowledge. Pliny the Elder said that hedgehogs would kick grapevines to make the grape fall to the ground. They would then roll in the grapes to impale them on their spikes.

The game comes as a handy hand printed material pouch so you can take it with you wherever you go. The pouch is hand printed on both sides: on side shows the Roman hedgehog and the other side is the board for the game. The prints were made with handcarved lino stamps and textile paint.

I hand printed the felt pieces using hand carved lino stamps and fabric paint.

Although these Monarch Butterfly pin cushions have been on my etsy store for a wee while I decided recently to re-photograph them to give a better representation. Available at my etsy store.

Inspired by the beautiful Monarch Butterfly, these pin cushions have been printed with a handcarved stamp and are handsewn. The top of the cushion is orange with black print and the bottom is red without print. They are approximately 75mm x 55mm and come with 5 pins each.

I made this print with a Stereotype/Cliché printing plate. The illustration was also printed in my book "Sláinte: A Traditional British and Irish Folk Lyrics Book". This print is available at my etsy store!

This belt pouch was inspired by the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite.Some of her associated symbols are roses, pearls and the colour red, these symbols feature on the pouch (the beads are glass and pearlesque, not real pearls). The pouch can be slid onto a max. 4,5cm wide belt.

Winter Bee and Summer Board Game which I hand painted for my boyfriend.

This game is originally Roman and was called Ludus Duodecim Scriptorum, Game of the Twelve Markings. It is very similar to Backgammon.

I hand printed this pouch with a hand carved moongazing hare stamp and a hand carved moon stamp. I finished the lined fabric pouch with polysatin ribbon and large plastic pearl beads (approx. 13mm). It is great for storing all sorts of things, such as: Tarot Cards (the pouch will fit a deck of 65mm x120mm tarot cards), Gem Stones, Rune Stones, Dice, Jewellery and whatever else you can think of.

Sobek is an Egyptian fertility god but he is also associated with the power of the Pharaoh, the military and the river Nile. He is depicted with the head of a Nile crocodile. He is called upon for his magical protection, mainly against the dangers of the Nile. The armband was embossed with a hand carved stamp and hand pressed on a printing press.They are available in two colours: Moss and Brown.
