Imagine an au in which Thurmond was closed down earlier. Specifically about 3 months before the start of the first book. The kids were transferred to different camps like how the government planned Ruby just so happened to be transferred to Caledonia, Ohio. Along with several of her cabin mates. Still hiding her true color, she has to learn to adapt to her new reality, all while a certain blue eyed blonde makes plans to get them all out of there.
Imagine Cole at a a hibachi restaurant and he doesn’t let the flame go out and the cook just doesn’t know what to do. Cole is just smirking the whole time and eventually he lets the cook put the fire out and then he immediately ignites the table again. Liam is trying to get Cole to stop. Grace is trying to hide how hard she is laughing. Harry pretends to be mad but he actually thinks it’s funny. Ruby is just under the table because she can’t hold it in.
