      BREAKING NEWS: betty the goat declared missing

statement released by the leighton city police department:

as of march 25, 2019 at 8:00 am EST, leighton’s famous betty the goat has been declared missing. while many of the animals who were released at the city fair were recovered and returned to their farms, there are still a small amount missing. sadly, this includes betty the goat. town authorities and animal control have been searching for almost a week now and they frankly have had no luck in locating betty. 

if anyone has any information on betty the goat’s whereabouts, please call [phone]. we will take any and all information. we will be offering a cash reward for any information that helps us locate her and a cash reward of $5,000 if anyone is able to find her.
