Physics is always so much fun when you understand everything āļøš
When the weirdest spot becomes the most creative one. šā
This was recorded by the Portsmouth Sinfonia in an experiment where all the members of the orchestra would swap instruments with each other and attempt to play them to the best of their ability.
favorite things about this
literally all the brass starts to get the hang of it and then the crescendos happen and everyone is like FUCK FUCK FUCK??? FUCK. JUST. BLOW RLY HARD.
the strings are lazy but also the same. like u can tell a lot of the ppl w/ the stringed instruments may already basically know how to play stringed instruments. like thereās definitely a section at the beginning where you hear a good portion going āoh yeah this is like. a smaller/bigger version of what i do.ā
all you hear of any woodwinds is just āpffffttt??? pFFFTTTT???? PFFFFFTTTT I SAID PFFFFTTTT!!!!!ā bc woodwinds are fucking HARD and you hear after like the first crescendo half of them just give up. they give up. theyāre done. fuck this it tastes weird and my lips hurt.
that trumpet. that person is fucking TRYING man they fucking GOT this. they may not have figured out notes but they figured out LOUD and they GOT this.
I JUST DIED
all I needed was a good laugh after this hellscape of a day

In complete awe in front of this movie. At this point I really don't care if it messes up my theme, that movie was so gooooooooooooddddd!!! ššš

Today's book haul. I think I might have a problem... #oops
9.16 basically this weekās productivity ; I put way more effort into this picture than Iām willing to admit of but hey, I put in the work so I can be as proud of it as I want :) also I donāt think I showed my new study space bc college so here it is!!
18 Sept 16 ā messy messy non-desk desk. 2 weeks and Iāll be back in Cambridge after a stupid number of months off for summer. !!! Currently reading I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou and couldnāt recommend it more; Iām underlining and annotating like a possessed Lit student.
the first week of school is coming to an end, and iām unbelievably tired. classes are going well and i think i like everything so far though!
Itās just a bunch of hocus pocus!
25.10.16 // Writing up my biology notes on plant responses ft. my new glasses šš¬
May I present to you: My study space!
Generally, I prefer studying in front of a window, because plants or a scenery is the perfect thing to look at if Iām thinking about something. However, the layout of my new room did not allow that (my window is huge and a desk in front of it would have swallowed too much of the natural light), so the first time in a while Iām actually looking at a wall when studying at home (at the library I still pick the window seats). I try to make up for the lack of view with posters and postcards (still a work in progress) and plants. On this picture you can see my ivy plant, which always keeps me company during the long studious hours. A few weeks back, I also got another succulent, which I have to show you another time.
Other important items: a cup of tea, a blanket and my study candle! I get cold quite easily, especially when sitting still for a long time, so the blanket helps me with that (and adds some extra coziness). The candle is from Muji and smells like āHinoki Woodā (basically like a cozy wooden cabin in the middle of the woods).
So, which essential items do you need in your study space?
Pretty sure this survival mode would work better if I had been able to spend more than 4 hours working on physics. Almost done with chapter four; three to go!!

11.8.2016: a belated october monthly spread!! yes, yes, itās november, but itās never too early to begin preparing for the next spoopy halloween? ;DD
