Sixth form is still a couple of months away and I only finished my GCSEs last month, but I thought I’d give myself a head start in A level bio and chem. Haven’t done biology since Year 10 so I definitely need to brush up on some knowledge!

01.09.15 // Now that I’ve submitted my final essay and my dissertation, I have officially completed my Masters degree! It’s been a long, gruelling year and the intensity of a 12-month academic year has definitely been a challenge! However, I’m really glad it’s all out of the way as I can now finally focus on my GAMSAT next week. It’ll be strange to be out of academia this year, and even weirder not to have to constantly write essays and stay on top of reading every week! Anyway, I thought I would commemorate this moment by posting this photo that I took whilst on campus yesterday. There’s no real meaning behind it, but I’m sure you can attach some sort of symbolism to this to make it more poignant than it is. However, I won’t be doing that because I’m officially taking off my English Literature hat!

01.09.15 // Year 11 prep has finally begun!

Made every effort to go into uni today so I could spend the day in the library finishing up the referencing for my essay, but I spent the morning going out to get my new printer and also going along with my sister for her back to school shopping. Halfway through, I realised I was actually wearing odd shoes! How STRANGE. Hahaha I actually intended to just go home and change my shoes and then head back out to meet my friend so we could go to uni, but going around town with my laptop had exhausted me so I ended up just going home and staying there. It then took me ages to set up the printer, so I’m now only just getting round to doing anything productive for the day. Anyway, here’s an old photo I took earlier this year of one of the campus coffee shops. It’s an adorable little place with such a homely/quaint feel and they do the best chai lattes at the best prices! It’s such a shame I couldn’t take advantage of it today…
