Anyone heard of a novel called John Dies at the End?

In that novel, there's a band called "Three Arm Sally" that many of the characters in it are a part of. Now, I recently got bored and typed in 'three arm sally' into Youtube and got hilarious results. Mack/John Cheese actually writes music under the name "Three Arm Sally" when he's bored, I think.

I half-wonder if anyone has ever heard of this short-lived band. The band is called "P" and it consisted of Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers), Johnny Depp, Sal Jenco, Bill Carter, Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and a few more, I think.
