I just checked google trends in USA, Taylor and ACLU are only 45th trend. It’s not getting that much attention, but if Taylor speaks out publicly about it, it will be ENORMOUS NEWS. It would definitely overshadow her album release!

How would it even effect the release? She denounces her involvement with them and what, she loses some album sales to white supremecists? Good riddance. There are lot more poc and people who support poc in the world than there are white supremecists. I would like to think that a lot more people would be buying her album BECAUSE she speaks out, not the other way around.

Also, that isn’t even the issue. It’s not about politics, it’s about ethics and what is morally right. Our girl needs to stand up and stop letting the media walk all over her. This era was meant to be about her taking back her reputation and this would be a great place to start. I strongly believe she will do the right thing. That’s why I support her in the first place.
