How good was The Great British Sewing Bee this week! They said 30% of fabric is discarded! What a waste! Think we might have to dig into our waste bin and start creating!

News on Virtual Classes

For those of you who are interested in taking a virtual class with me, I am currently designing a brand new handbag. The Hawkshead Handbag will be very simple to make, but with my design skills, I hope it will look very professional when completed. I am using some very interesting hardware... not the norm... shall we say, which will add to its unique appearance! So, keep watching... this space for snippets and teasers...

Cork is a great fabric to work with and provides a really hard wearing handbag. I especially like the ethnic look to this handbag with the feathers.
