Our Baby Guild is 5 Years Old!
A conversation about the guild came up the other day and we always forget what year it started; so we decided to look it up! Apparently we missed the guild’s 5th anniversary on 2/20! The original start up date was 2/20/11 and we’ve been going strong for 5 years without any new name, realm or faction changes and the same 3 people in charge. We have been lucky enough to have some AMAZING officers watching over the guild while we poured ourselves into our side projects.
These have been some amazing years, it has gone from creating a home for people to get away from the power hungry and controlling guilds out there, to a family that has continued to grow. Our relationship has grown so much that I have been able to move into the same house as my co-leaders and have had the best past 9 almost 10 months in my life! I would have never imagined that our guild would blossom into a true family. We’ve had about the same people that were there since the beginning and they have become our very best friends.
Almost everything done in the guild depended on mostly the 3 of us with help from certain officers, we spent countless hours trying to find a way to get the guild achievements with only a few of us; and it paid off! ( http://us.battle.net/wow/en/guild/wyrmrest‑accord/Ichnee_Ishealo/achievement ) It’s not much, but this was only done by 3, sometimes 4, people. We found our way around the party system enough to even get a few 5 people achievements and worked extra hard for the achievements that required nearly entire guilds.
We have dedicated ourselves to this guild, this family and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We’ve even started putting the guild logo on everything we own (I have it tattooed on my body, bam. Dedication.) And we’ve even begun naming guilds in different games with the same name (or meaning). So happy 5th birthday Ichnee and hopefully there are many more to come!
