Our lovely friends from Deli-caat in Amsterdam west become the home for our selection. Each month you can taste one of our flavors and this month it is monkey time. Come on over and try out our great coconut water from the Fountain of Youth!
You can find our selection at the great Cafe de Walvis in the Spaarndammer buurt in Amsterdam. Lovely place with great food beers and lemonades and juices!
If you are near the Jordaan in Amsterdam and in for a chill, you should visit this great place called Mr K &Co. Try out their nice juices, including our coconut water off course, their nice variety of fresh teas or their other nice blends of herbs http://ift.tt/YpRoFN
Get our monkey at this lovely place
We would like to introduce to you this lovely new place where you can buy our monkeys , de Tarwegraskoning at the van Baerlestraat. They are selling them for retail prices so if you live in that area, thus is the place to be! Besides our coconut water you can get delicious juices or buy a slow juicer for your selve. There is one for sale now!! http://ift.tt/YpRqh3
One of the first flavors we want to introduce to you is coconut water.
After sipping it our selves on a vacation in Thailand, we fell in love with the product and its flavor. We searched for the best and we found a lovely company who makes the nicest coconut water available for where we live in Europe where no palm trees are growing. The Fountain of Youth by the Michelberger Hotel collective based in Berlin.
Besides the friendliness of the people I met with, we shared the same vision towards quality, sustainability and socially compatibleness and I knew this was the product I wanted to share with my friends here in Amsterdam.
Another thing what I found really important is the motivation of the company to import a product like this. Not of becoming worlds biggest coconut water supplier, regardless quality of sustainable or social consequences but just doing it because you love a product and want to do something fun with the highest quality as possible and it looks nice as well!
Welcome fellow travellers!
we would like to introduce our selves with a little story.
The palm tree has found an amazing way to survive and re-produce itself; as its fruit, the coconut, is built to travel. Taken by the currents of the sea, it will travel the world and wherever faith takes it, a new palm tree can grow and life begins.
Not just a new life for the palm tree but also opportunities for us as a human species. We can build houses from the trunks and leaves, make rope out of the bark to weave clothes or catch fish and of course eat and drink the fruit.
The beauty in all of this is; nature has arranged everything for us, it has a system, where when in balan- ce, absolute symbiosis can occur.
The only thing we need to give back in exchange for being blissfully rewarded with an amazing variety of delicious fruits and vegetables is to spread those same nuts and seeds, so her legacy carries on.
And that sounds like a pretty good deal to us!
Like the coconut we love to travel and discover new places and flavours. So whenever we fell in love with a new flavour we went on a quest to find the best ways to enjoy its taste daily.
Most of the fruits we love don't grow here where we live in Amsterdam, so we searched far and wide for alternatives in order to share these amazing flavours with our friends.
We thankfully found a small group of like minded companies who either produce or import amazing fresh juices and lemonades. These natural beverages are free of additives with smart sustainable package designs allowing for longevity that requires no preservatives to hold their taste and nutrients inside.
Come join us on our adventure in discovering this world of amazing flavours.
