These postcards will hit the streets of San Francisco starting in November to advertise HAIR, running EVERY DAY (but Mon) from Jan 11-20th, 2013, at Bindlestiff Studio. www.theTRIBEproductions.org
Set design has begun for San Francisco's HAIR in January. We can't take over one of these painted ladies, but we sure will be painting the heck out of our theatre (even more so than in Hollywood!)
Today in 1967 the US Marines launched Operation Swift (which killed over 400 souls), and The Grateful Dead played a live show in San Francisco. ...here's hoping your day is more peaceful and less polarizing!
Look what we found chalked on the sidewalk in the Castro in SF! They must know HAIR is on its way :) www.theTRIBEproductions.org
This is on the way to the theatre...wonder where we're going ;-)
January is usually a cold month...a warm bowl of tomato soup will warm you up when you see HAIR in...well, we'll tell you where on Sept 1, and will be posting hints until then!
A 1967 street march to protest the Vietnam war. ...do you know where this was taken?!
On the sidewalks of Hollywood. Don't miss HAIR! www.plays411.net/HAIR LOVE50 gets half off!
I saw what Adam had seen on the morning of creation - the miracle, moment by moment, of naked existence...flowers shining with their own inner light and all but quivering under the pressure of the significance with which they were charged.
Aldous Huxley, in THE DOORS OF PERCEPTION, the book in which he maintained that the mind's potential is being controlled by a valve (or a door), and you could open that through LSD.
Experience the acid trip with us: www.plays411.net/HAIR
theTRIBE will be donating money (thanks to HAIR!) to AIDS WALK Los Angeles! Yet another reason to buy a ticket :) www.plays411.net/HAIR
Come to the Be-In! www.plays411.net/HAIR (Taken with instagram)
"All I've got's this sunny afternoon" - The Kinks, 1966
Tickets are USUALLY $40! Students/55+ can get $20 tickets using the online code HAIR20, and adults can get $30 tickets using the code HAIR30. Don't miss out on discounts!
