With GoFundMe arbitrarily shutting down Gazan campaigns, my friend Anas @dr-anas96 has created a Chuffed campaign.
For those who don't know, Anas is a medical student who is currently trapped in Gaza, but doing everything in his power with his knowledge as a doctor to support his community and keep them safe.
He fell ill with gastric cancer and his fundraiser money is his sole lifeline in order to afford medicine and feed his starving family.
More about Anas here and here. Read his own words in the intro to his Chuffed campaign as well.
š Every night, we close our children's eyes hoping they will make it safely through until morning... but the unbearable heat, insects, rodents, and fear never leave our tent.
šļø We never chose this life. We are simply doing everything we can to protect our children while living with almost nothing.
š If our story reaches your heart, please don't scroll past. Even the smallest donation can provide food, medicine, or a little safety for our family.
š¤ Please help our family survive. And if you can't donate, sharing our story could reach someone who can.
Hi, could you donate even a little to the fundraiser of @a00h2? It is https://chuffed.org/project/157829-save-the-raneen-family. She and her family are trapped in Gaza, in danger from the bombings, and her 1-year-old baby has lung cancer; they need money to leave Gaza to be safe and access treatment for him. You can find proof of the fundraiser's legitimacy (vetting links) on this post: https://www.tumblr.com/karlmarxmaybe/820136656054157312/my-friends-in-gaza-need-177-right-now-they-need. Thank you!
My name is Ale PeƱa Gorbe, and I am raising funds for my Palestinian friend Raneen. This is her story, in her words:
TRAGICALLY, MY BABY QAISāS HEART STOPPED BEATING TONIGHT SUDDENLY.
I stood there frozen, unable to breathe as I watched my child collapse in front of me, and I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and does not support me with a single word and ignores me.
The doctors said severe bleeding and weakness caused this terrifying moment, and without urgent treatment it could happen again anytime, so I ask, can you help me get treatment for my baby Qais??
I am begging you as a persecuted mother in Gaza, watching my baby bleed in front of me, unable to stop it. Please donate now and help me save his life before itās too late.
OH MY GOD, I felt my heart break as I saw my baby Qais unable to move or respond, lying there in pain, and I could not help him. Please donate now and save him
Tonight I thought my baby Qais had died after his body suddenly stopped moving in my arms, and I screamed his name while begging him to open his eyes again. Please, I beg you from my shattered heart, donate now before I lose him forever.
For more than two months, my fundraising campaign has been on hold. Despite my real need for every bit of support, I couldnāt restart it because I didnāt have the help needed to complete the account setup.
From the very beginning, I never wanted to rely only on donations. Over the past few days, I have been learning more about digital marketing because I truly need a steady source of income to help me and my children meet our daily needs.
My university degree in Chemistry Education didnāt open the doors to work as I had hoped. Today, my hope is to build a new path through digital marketing and create a better future for my children and myself.
Some paths may have stopped before me, but my heart has never stopped searching for a door of hope for me and my children.
From relying on others to relying on myself, Iām learning every day how to turn challenges into opportunities and failures into experience.
I truly hope for your support in this new journey:
⢠Please share my post with your friends.
⢠Follow my page to see what I will be marketing in the coming days.
⢠Invite others to support me and help me start this path strongly and safely.
Every share, follow, or kind support from you helps me take a new step toward a better life for me and my children. šøš
My dreams are not just words they are steps I achieve with determination and consistent effort.
Every small support from you makes this journey shorter and stronger.
Letās build a better tomorrow together, day by day, with love, perseverance, and a willpower that knows no limits. š
šØ MY FATHER HAS RELAPSED & RUSHED BACK TO THE HOSPITAL - WE ARE IN ABSOLUTE CRISIS! šØ
I am crying out for help from Gaza with a shattered heart. My father has just been rushed back to the hospital in critical condition. His intestinal obstruction (bowel obstruction) has severely relapsed, and he is in agonizing pain, literally fighting for his life right now.
I am completely helpless. For weeks, we haven't received a single donation, leaving me unable to afford his urgent medical treatment or the essential medicines my family desperately needs. At the same time, my 4 young children are still trapped in a suffocating, scorching tent, suffering from painful chickenpox with no relief.
We are the family whose bombed and burning tent was documented by **Al Jazeera**. We survived the airstrikes only to watch my father and children collapse from sickness and starvation due to astronomical prices.
Please, do not look away. If you have the means to donate and save my father's life, please DM me immediately or check my pinned links. If you cannot donate, I beg you to reblog and share this post. Your reblog is our only lifeline right now.

š From Gaza⦠where suffering has become daily life š
I am from Gaza ā a father whose only goal is to keep his children alive. Our home was destroyed šļø,
and we no longer have a place to shelter. We move from one place to another, searching for safety, warmth, and a piece of bread š.
My children go to sleep hungry š¢,and my wife and daughter were injured and are still living with pain š.
There is no work, no income, and no certainty about tomorrow ā only fear.In Gaza, we do not dream big dreams. We only dream of a day that passes in peace š ,
a meal that fills our childrenās stomachs, and a night where they can sleep withouut the sound of bombing. This is not just a story of sorrow, but the testimony of a human being trying to survive, clinging to life despite everything.Gaza is not numbers.
Gaza is faces, children, and hearts that grow tired ā but never surrender šµšø
I have come back again asking for your help, after the earth became too narrow for me and I took it as a bed, and the sky as a blanket š

A mother's plea: Help us survive and protect my child who was born in war.
My name is Sahar. Like any young woman, I dreamed of a stable and happy life. I was engaged to Mohammad, and together, we dreamed of building a warm little home where we could start our life. We spent years preparing our house, but just before our wedding, everything was destroyed in an instant by the war.
I was faced with a choice: to leave Mohammad in the midst of this chaos or to stand by him and begin our journey together, no matter how difficult it might be. I chose him. We got married, not in the dream wedding I had envisioned, but under the harsh reality of war. Our new home became a fragile tent, offering neither comfort nor security.
After we got married, I received the news that I was pregnant with my daughter, and I live in constant fear for my unborn child. I am terrified of the world she will be born intoāa world of poverty, hunger, and bitter cold. We have been displaced from our home more than nine times, carrying with us nothing but the burden of loss and the hope of survival. The house we dreamed of is now rubble, and the tent we live in barely protects us from the rain and cold. How will I protect my daughter? We struggle to find enough food. Basic necessities like milk, blankets, and clothing feel impossibly out of reach. The cost of survival has become unbearable. Every night, I am haunted by the thought: how can I bring her into this world, knowing I cannot keep her safe?
After a long pregnancy filled with pain and fear, after nights without sleep, I finally gave birth to my baby girl. She was born in the middle of bombing, surrounded by destruction and povertyānot in a warm room, not in a safe place. Her first cry mixed with the sound of explosions, as if she was announcing her arrival into a cruel world she never chose.
I gave birth to her with nothing but my heart. I cannot promise her anything. Poverty surrounds us from every side, and the cold reaches her tiny body before night even comes. My baby and I are suffering deeply, not because we ask for much, but because I am unable to provide her with the most basic needs: milk, warmth, and safety.
When I look into her eyes, I feel strength. When I look at my empty hands, I break down in tears. I am a mother trying to save her child from hunger and fear, in a world that has shown no mercy even to the dreams of children.š¢š„¹

Hello friends,Please, I am asking for your help and support. My fundraiser is moving very slowly, and my daughter Fatoum is very sick. As you can see in the photos, she has developed a bacterial infection caused by insects and the harsh weather conditions. Her condition is getting worse every day.
We are living through the horrors of war in every possible way. Every day there are innocent children and civilians being killed. My daughter is an orphan. She lost her father in the war, and I do not want to lose her too.
Please, if you can, support and help us. I am only trying to provide the most basic necessities of life for my family and get the care my daughter needs.Any donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference. Please donāt ignore our plea. š„ŗšš
My name is Maram, I am 25 years old from Gaza. I dreamed of a peaceful life, spending my life with my husband and my three children... but the war turned this dream into an impossible one šš. We lived through this genocide with all its painful details and we are still suffering from itš. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip. After repairing a small room in our destroyed house, we began to live there and start over. Unfortunately, the war came back, and it was even stronger than before š. Now, we have no shelter or source of income. We have used up all our savings during the war. I know I created my campaign very late, but that's because I have no other means to help my family š. I am completely confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these tough circumstances š.
I know how painful and frustrating it is to start over from scratch, but I hope to get any amount for my family š„ŗš.

Over the past few days, I asked for your help to cover Eid expenses and to buy medication for my parents. Yesterday, we experienced a very nearby airstrike that caused significant damage, including damage to our tent.
We are living with fear every moment. Every minute feels uncertain, and the war has never truly ended. The situation continues to worsen, and I could lose my life at any moment. Please do not forget my family and loved ones. Any support you can provide, even to help us repair the damage, would mean so much to us. We urgently need your help. These are some photos showing the damage and the area that was bombed. Please support and help us in any way you can. We need everything.šš

A Plea from the Heart: I Am Fatima, and This Is My Story
My name is Fatima, a teacher from Gaza. I used to work in a small school I loved dearly, planting hope in the hearts of children and teaching them that tomorrow could be better. But the war took everything away. My school was bombed, I lost my job, and our home was reduced to rubble. Yet, I refused to give up. I set up a small tent amid the destruction and continued teaching children, showing them that knowledge is a light that cannot be extinguished, even in the darkest times.
My husband, Akram, was my partner and pillar of support. But he was severely injured in an attack targeting civilians. His abdominal injuries are so severe that he can no longer work or even lift basic items. Every day, I see the pain in his eyes and feel the weight of helplessness, but I try to stay strong for him and for our children.
Our eldest, Manar, is four years old, and sheās missing out on her childhood amidst this devastation. Our youngest, Ibrahim, was born under bombardment just a year ago. He has suffered greatly due to the lack of milk and proper medical care. Yet, sometimes, he smiles, and in those brief moments, I find the strength to keep going.
We now live in a fragile tent that doesnāt shield us from the cold or rain. Every day is a new battle for survival. I write these words while holding my childrenās hands, with nothing left but my faith in God and the hope that your kind hearts will hear our plea.
Please help us provide milk and food for our children, ease Akramās pain, and rebuild even a small part of the life the war has destroyed. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference in our lives.
I ask you to share our story and be our support during this harsh and unforgiving time.

Khan Younis: A City of Displacement and Hungeršµšøš
Khan Younis⦠a city overwhelmed by displacement, suffocating under the weight of tents and silent screams.Families fleeing from one danger into another, with nothing but broken dreams and borrowed blankets.
Children are starving. Mothers spend the day searching for crumbs. Fathers are shadows of themselves, carrying pain they canāt express. No clean water. No food. No medicine.
This is not a page from history ā this is now. In Khan Younis. In the dust and mud, among torn tents and empty pots.
Hunger is the only language left. The cries are loud, even if the world has stopped listening.
