i love the inside of the jazz album cover, because upon first glance it’s like oh cool. it’s a photo of their rehearsal space or whatever
but no! look closer and you’ll spot four nerds just chillin in their natural habitats
John Deacon, 1967.
HOLD UP.
HOLD THE FUCK UP.
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT THIS ^
was only three years before THIS
WHAT
Joining Queen aged John to his late 20s
what did he take to make his hair grow that fast
the deeper you dig into Queen's history, the more mysterious this dude gets
Theres a WHOLE SOFA for them to sit on but they just sit ON TOP of eachother
*on top of Roger 👀
What personal space
Queen phone wallpapers of my recent drawings 🥰
All of Queen’s music can be broken down into one of ten subgenres:
our band ruined our lives but we loved every second of it
rebelling is out, sabotage is in
posh tunes to distract from our impoverished lifestyle
existential dread and what it means to me
music centered around absolute gibberish
a rare burst of affection
is this the real life? is this a fever dream?
fuck you
fuck me

His smile is magic ✨
I have sinned dear father, father I have sinned
Try and help me father
Won’t you

Found this little gem today. Gotta love our funky space grandpa!
Brian talking about watching the moon landing (on this day 20th July 1969).
It's one of those things, isn't it? Everybody remembers where they were.
I was with Roger Taylor, who was my drummer already, and it was the very beginnings of Queen and we were down in Cornwall staying at Roger's mum's house.
Full documentary here.
