Nina Dobrev on Damon and Elena | The Vampire Diaries “Forever Yours” Special
Forever♾💜
Dear Diary, today will be different. Today I will smile. It will be genuine. Because today is the day that I get to live again. This life will be good and beautiful. But not without heartbreak. In death comes peace. But pain is the cost of living. Like love, it’s how we know we’re alive. And life goes on.
at the end when they show the after life and Elena isn't with damon, will elena be with damon again? or are they without each other in the after life forever?
As for the technical side of it all and whether the final moments of the series mean that Damon and Elena are dead, Plec says it’s left open to interpretation, although she will say what it means to her personally: “It’s each of them, at the end of a long life together, finding their version of peace,” she says. “That’s not to say that their version of peace doesn’t include the other — maybe they’re going to have a barbecue in an hour — but being reunited with those who you’ve lost and mourned the most is my idea of peace. That’s the meaning I chose to give it.”(x)
About the finale: we can see that Elena found her family, and Damon found Stefan. Do you think the afterlife is one big earth-like world, where everyone can still see and visit everyone? For instance, Elena can still just go over to the Salvatore mansion and visit the brothers... Or do you think the characters go to the people they "found peace with" and that's all there is? I prefer to imagine the former, but I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on it :)
I don’t know if I’m influenced by Julie’s words, but if I have to think about peace, then I believe you you can be reunited with everyone you loved.
Or at least that is my idea of peace, being surrended by the people I love and feeling a sense of being at home.
So what if I’m crazy? The best people are.
yo but I didn’t expect Damon to compel Stefan and I’m actually crying because oh my god the first selfless thing he has done for his brother and holy shit it’s big. This honestly is my favorite Defan moment hands done.
Live look at the Klaroline fandom….
When Damon and Elena slow-mo ran towards each other and kissed:
When you love Damon, but Katherine states that Stefan is the better man and she isn't wrong:
STEFAN IS WITH HIS BEST FRIEND AGAIN. OH MY GOD. LEXI AND STEFAN BROTP. THEYRE GOING TO BE HAPPY TOGETHER.
You guys thought Bonnie was gonna die? Legends don't die.
What I took from the TVD finale
Klaroline is still alive and will finish strong. Bring on the originals
The Klaroline fandom right now:
IT'S OFFICIALLY CANON THAT KLAUS MIKAELSON NEVER STOPPED LOVING CAROLINE FORBES FOR ONE SINGLE SECOND.
klaus: feared, vampire hybrid, ruthless king of new orleans
real klaus: lovesick puppy writing romantic letters to caroline forbes like it hasn't been a day since they've been apart
