For your Q&A: Did you and your brother get teased at school for being different. Or was there other vegan kids too?

I got off very lightly as we moved to a city for my dancing and my brother had to change schools. My nickname from these kids on the bus (not actually from my school) was 1 in a million, because of my different coloured eyes. My brother however had a harder time at the new Steiner school in Newcastle (Aus) and was called Veegie and SOY BOY!!!

What vegan foods do you mainly eat?

I eat a HighCarb mainly wholefoods (RawTill4 style) vegan diet.

In my late teens/early 20′s I tried more junky type foods & when I worked at an all Vegan Grocery store I had to try some of the products (like cheeses, meat substitutes etc) just so I could recommend them to customers (not that I’d tried the ‘real’ non vegan versions haha) .

So yeah just lots of fresh ripe fruits & simple veggie, starch & grain filled cooked meals :) Check out my Instagram for my foodie pics & I have some tasty recipes on my YouTube Channel too! Both under @TheVeganDancerGirl :)

Have you ever eaten anything non vegan?

No, not that I am knowingly aware of EVER! 

I’ve had a few experiences of being given non vegan food (which was labeled as vegan and the staff even assured me it was too) in cafes and stuff a few years back. But I have this wicked sense of smell and can pick up when something has milk/butter in it etc, so I’d send it back untouched! 

Thats why I personally prefer supporting 100% ethical vegan places :)
