Bear!Jaskier is the only Jaskier who will ever sing that song. (I think it happens quite rarely, but Jaskier struggles with being a witcher. It doesn't happen as often as in the beginning either, but sometimes...)

You know how much I love the h/c trope of 'Geralt is in sensory overload because of the potions' and with bear Jaskier that one goes both ways 🙏
This is kind of a companion piece to my last post! Yes, Geralt never talks about being married but if you are lucky you'll catch them being grossly domestic~
Prompt 9: Switch
Oops. I ended up being a bit hooked by that prompt. 👉👈
Prompt 5: Singing (Geralt reaction under the cut)
please someone tell me what I wanted to express with that one, I can't put it into words
Just a tiny little sketch, because! bards!!
I wanted this to be softer, but the vibe turned around. this feels like it's after something (I don't know what).
I'm a bit delighted by the fact that the core of this show is still those two wandering the contintent, not gonna lie
Something something about converstations around the campfire and Geralt being broody-
We finally had some h/c this season, yesss. I first started to draw Jaskier trying to cheer Geralt up but then I was like. No. That's what he always does! Let my boy be shaken and cared for!
I kept thinking about the good old AU times and what would have happend if bear!Jaskier was part of season 👀
Geralt not knowing what cuteness aggression is and assuming that he's an inherently violent person.
He eventually confesses these urges to Jaskier. The bard has to convince him that this doesn't mean he's inherently evil.
Geralt finished pouring his heart out to Jaskier, confessing the dangerous thought that had been gnawing at the edges of his mind.
Guess what Jaskier did next.
“You bit me,” Geralt said flatly, staring at the fresh indentations on his arm.
Jaskier finally pulled away, entirely unrepentant. “You’re terribly cute when you’re flustered,” he said, a grin curling across his face.
Geralt blinked at him. “What in the hells are you talking about?”
“You have cuteness aggression,” Jaskier declared smugly. “And it’s because of me.” His voice slipped into a triumphant sing-song. “I’m simply that adorable.”
a little guide circa the 15th century
edit: for those who are curious here is the museum page for this suit of armor with more info and photos sorry it is in german (I cant read it either bc alas I only really speak american)
geralt's sarcastic quote "women warriors and bards playing politics, what a world" (paraphrased) from tw2 is so fucking funny when you remember that dandelion (the bard who geralt was speaking of and to) is a fucking viscount, and geralt knows that. or, he's been told that several times, and immediately discarded the information because he agrees that dandelion's nobility doesn't matter at all. if it mattered, dandelion would ever bring it up besides when introducing himself
geralt's journal entry for dandelion that dandelion wrote introduces himself as "Dandelion, in reality the Viscount de Lettenhove, though titles are unimportant-"
and there's so much packed into that one half-sentence. he's not hiding his heritage, it just doesn't matter, so he'd rather just blow past it. and it's one of the best indicators of why him and geralt are close friends. they have the same amount of respect for nobility; to them, respect is something to be earned, not given by birthright.
i just love how incredibly obvious it is that to, like, all of dandelion's close friends, julian alfred pankratz, viscount of lettenhove and professor at oxenfurt university, is just... dandelion the bard. that's all that matters!
