|| @thevoidcomes || liked for Nath ||
Sitting out by the water, Nath watched the sun slowly sink into the water. He knew he should get up, go get food, but it didnât really seem all that important right now. Looking far out into the lake, watching the boats cut through the waves, he was oblivious to his immediate surroundings.Â
Pulsar had been hanging around the area for some time now, just enjoying nature as he saw it and getting used to wearing shorts with his jacket at least, and thinking about what next to create.
Heâd noticed the large man sitting by himself earlier on in the day and didnât think much of it, now though, heâd come back in the late afternoon and saw he was still there.
That wasnât normal, was it? Feeling concern, Pulsar looks at the sandwich heâd got from a deli and smiled, trotting over to stand beside Nath and leant down, offering the wrapped food.
âHey... Youâve been here all day, right? Arenât you hungry?â
Boom!
|| @thevoidcomes || liked for Megamind ||
Giggling madly to himself, Megamind set off another explosion. The building exploded with another round of fireworks. His giggles turned to fun evil laughter.
Of course today was expected to be filled with explosions. What Spooks did not account for was that this explosion was not his own and with a high-pitched shriek of pain as fire singed over his body, he continued his vocalization as he flew out of the building from the blast and slammed face-first hard into the ground right in front of Megamind.
Groaning into the concrete, Spooksâ back end finally flops to the ground while his ears droop also.
Ouch.

She arrives. (Celly)
Syx had woken up from that nightmare again. It had gotten more frequent since his break up with Wayne. The stress, he was sure. Making sure not to wake Anna, Syx slipped out of bed and headed into the workshop. He needed a distraction. What he got wasâŠÂ
He made a high-pitched distressed noise in the back of his throat, beginning to hyperventilate. The void had come to swallow him whole.

It was getting much easier to keep up to speed with the blue being the more they interacted. Finding herself learning on the speed of mortals as her time around them continued.
At his question, she turned slowly and gazed at the new expression on his face, feeling better that it wasnât fear.
âSpace is, a part of me. Yes.â Celestialess said slowly, sinking to the ground in a sitting position, but still hovering just above the concrete.
âPart of space? How is that even possible?â reaching out, Megamindâs hand hovered near her and found himself murmuring, ââŠtell me your secrets space womanâŠâ
It had been so long since heâd seen the stars like that. The trip, for all its trauma, had been magical as well. Space fascinated him more than anything and his deepest wish was to see the stars from space again at least once. Now that the panic at seeing her was starting to fade to manageable levels, curiosity took over.
â... I was once so massive, you could not comprehend my scale... Iâm as you would say old...â She says slowly, holding out a hand for Syx so he could touch with a gentle nod of her head.
âThere are things in place that make me touchable you are free to do so... Just beware my, um, hair.â He knew that already but she would warn again. There was no sense in harming anything as curious about her as this little blue thing.
âI was at, the center of a galaxy, once... What you call a Supermassive Blackhole. Until a being, known as Al, found me and for once in my life, something talked back to me... Eventually, he helped me take shape and form... What you see now, it was influenced by creatures he had seen... I took a fancy to the form.â She explains, a staticy giggle escaping her briefly.
It was taking her a fair amount of time to explain this, sheâd never spoken so much to anyone but to Al and even then, time between them was nothing, like this.
The Cats Eye Nebula : Three thousand light-years away, a dying star throws off shells of glowing gas. This image from the Hubble Space Telescope reveals the Cats Eye Nebula to be one of the most complex planetary nebulae known. In fact, the features seen in the Cats Eye are so complex that astronomers suspect the bright central object may actually be a binary star system. The term planetary nebula, used to describe this general class of objects, is misleading. Although these objects may appear round and planet-like in small telescopes, high resolution images reveal them to be stars surrounded by cocoons of gas blown off in the late stages of stellar evolution. via NASA

Syx swallowed and keyed up the main door they used to exit the large bots through. At least the ceilings here were tall, but he still eyed her hair nervously, âI⊠just donât want you to⊠swallow anything I love.â
His voice was barely over a whisper. Desperately he tried not to picture the hole that had swallowed his entire childhood.Â
Too late she had realised that there was trauma in this beingâs life.
Something that related to her. Or at least, what she was. Celestialess wished she could take it back, but all she could do now was leave.
âI will not.â She finally promises, waiting until there was an exit big enough for her before looking for guidance to exit.

Nodding, Syx let his shoulders relax slightly, âGood, good.â
As he watched her leave, he finally let himself marvel at her appearance. She was gorgeous really. As he let his eyes fall into the depth of her âskinâ he saw things he hadnât since heâd been a small child. The stars, unhindered by the atmosphere of a planetâŠ
Whistful, he wondered, âAre you really⊠made of space?â

"DONâT EAT THAT!"
âWhat?! Why?!â Pulsar gasped and dropped what heâd been about to put in his mouth after fumbling briefly, pouting when it hit the floor.
Heâd been startled by the sudden shouting, and now was out one meal of⊠Well, he didnât know what that was. Just that it smelled pretty good.
1000liveslived:
Helping to distribute the cocoa into the mugs, Pulsar adds some marshmallows with a hum and then gets a spoon to scoop out as much of the stuff left in the pot over them. Before he takes his mug to enjoy it, though, he goes and fills the pot with hot water in the sink and lets it soak.
Trotting back over to Lyn, Pulsar takes his mug and sighs happily at the warmth.
âWell, thatâs good.â He takes a small sip of his cocoa, looking down at the covered marshmallows with a small frown. âHe calls me his little godling but what good is a god if it canât make things better? Right?â Pulsar never stopped Jimmy from calling him that, let him do what he likes really, but he never believed it. He couldnât even fix what ailed Jimmy, no matter how much he wanted to.
âNot everythinâ is fixed with magic or jusâ magically wishin somethin ta be true,â she informed Pulsar, cupping the mug in her hands before bringing it to her lips. She closed her eyes to relish the feeling of it all, to take in the flavor of what she had considered to be home. The recipe was Jimâs.. and incredibly soothing to her.Â
âJusâ be here. Its all heâd ever need,â She looked over at him with a small smile, though the expression didnât reach her eyes. The Father/Daughter duo had been through an incredible amount of things together..Â
Pulsar nods slowly and after Lyn finished speaking, began to sip at his own drink and remaining thoughtfully quiet.
âHeâs been very lucky to have youâ He says after a moment, a genuine smile on his face. Coming closer, he leans against Lynâs side and rests his head on her shoulder.
âDonât ever go? I... I canât control when I do but... You will always be here too, yeah?â Pulsar asks in a quiet voice. He never wanted to leave but whatever magic, time-looped bullshit had him attached to Al through Celly dictated his periods of stay.Â
Aw, Rats!
âIâm guessing pretty farâŠâ Sheldon frowned, tipping his head at the strange creature, âThis universe, this city actually, has a habit of drawing people to it. I came here after an explosion of a malfunctioning device as well. And well⊠I frankly havenât ever seen anything like you before. Zax? Chua? Spooks? Mondo? None of that makes sense to me.â
âOh of course of course, Chua not expect one with tiny brain to-â The creature stopped short as soon as heâd turned around and actually gotten a look at Sheldon, eyes wide the device in his hand drops to the ground with a clatter.
âOr maybe not so tiny! Chua never seen species before. What is? Must tell Chua!â The pink rodentâs ears picked way up and he began to scurry around Sheldon, sniffing at him and tugging at various items of clothing, looking at them closely and discerning what theyâre made from before moving on to grabbing one of the manâs hands and counting his fingers.
âYou say we in city. What city? Illium? Disgusting Exile city Thayd perhaps? Maybe Chua on different planet now. What planet this?â He rattled off questions all while examining Sheldon.
Sheldon cringed, he actually didnât know the proper name for his species, âHere weâre just called the Blue People.â His face fell to a from as the excitable thing circled him and started getting grabby, âWatch it! Thatâs a Dolce suit,â he shifted and pulled his hand back, "Earth, the United States, Michigan, Metro City. Thatâs where we are. Iâm going to assume thatâs a new planet to you, but I have no idea what our might by know as to you. I-â Sheldon paused and tipped his head, âYouâre speaking English?â
âDollâs suit? Hm, yes, blue is very skinny.â Spooks agrees while putting a paw over his mouth and nodding thoughtfully.
âYes, new planet! Nothing sound familiar.â When Sheldon questioned how he was speaking the language, however, Spooks grinned and pointed to his ears, closer in towards his head.
âNanos in brain. eat gibberish, excrete gibberish. Much easier to communicate. Many many species in universe, canât have just one dumb language!â The chua laughs and picks his ruined device back up, suddenly managing to rip the outer casing off and retrieve some kind of glowing green glass-like sphere from inside.
âQuestion now is... How Chua get to whole different planet. Maybe Eldan goo not compatible with Spooks tech.â The ratâs ears droop briefly before they go up again and he makes an awed face.
âMaybe Spooks create interdimensional transporter! MUST RECREATE EXPERIMENT!â
The purple drug lord froze and gave a low whistle, "Well, fuck me, there ya are, Cream Puff," Jimmy tipped his hat back with a slow sweet grin, "Been too long."
Pulsar had been out and about.
It was approaching about two weeks since heâd arrived in the universe through that portal of a woman and he was enjoying himself immensely. Loving the sights, the smells, the tastes of food. Even his little pet Nebs was sticking his snout out of his pocket here and there to take a look.
Pulsar was skirting the edge of the main park when he heard someone talking.
To him. He could tell, because there was no one else here, and when he looked at who was speaking, they were looking right at him.
Huh. Cream puff? That was a new one, but he didnât know who this guy was. Still, the man had a look of familiarity in his eyes and Pulsar stopped in his tracks, tail swishing and his head tilting.
âHere I am? Iâm sorry, I donât think weâve met.â
With a wave of his hand jimmy ordered another round, âCareful there Cream Puff o yaâll get yerself wasted,â leaning in towards his past lover, Jimmy let his hand slip against Pulsars inner thigh, âAn if it ainât sinninâ it wouldnât be half the fun, eh?â
His breath brushed over the pony boyâs neck as he brushed that white hair back, âDonât ya worry yer pretty face, yer cupâll never be empty here.â
âWasted?â Pulsar asks but cuts himself off with a soft gasp when that hand slid up the inside of his thigh and breath brushed over the back of his neck making him blush and hum in enjoyment.
âHn, I guess not.â Pulsar relents and leans in against Jimmy with a hum after taking his next drink.
âIs wasted a bad thing?â
âWasted means ya start ta lose her mind a bit, eh? Effect everyone different, but in the end its the same. Lose oâ all a what keeps us tatagether,â Jimmyâs lips ghosted over Pulsarâs neck, âItâs a sort oâ freedom, but at a cost, hear?â
He ran a thumb along his pony godlings jaw, âYa can lose yerself in it, it can de a devil o a thing.â
âOohh... I get it.â Pulsar murmurs, eyes falling halfway closed and a hum escaping him as Jimmyâs breath and lips brush over his neck and that thumb traces his jaw.
He liked these touches. They were new and exciting, and Jimmyâs voice was smooth like... Like something smooth, he didnât know what.
Right now, all he wanted was to curl up against him and listen to him talk more. Taking a big long drink of his alcohol, Pulsar leans to put the quarter-full cup on the table before them and does just as heâd wanted to.
He curled up against Jimmy and ran his fingers through the fur on his jacket.
She arrives. (Celly)

He made a high-pitched distressed noise in the back of his throat, beginning to hyperventilate. The void had come to swallow him whole.
âAh⊠yes⊠well⊠that makes sense?â Syxâs wide green eyes where still glued to where the bomb had been. A hand pressed firmly over his hammering heart, he stood on unsteady feet and eased backwards, âT-this way.â
Celestialess followed along obediently, now holding her hair in against herself as much as she could and mutedly observed the curious blue creature in her own time.
He was very scared, it seemed. She didnât want that. Perhaps a promise of never coming back?
ââŠI will try not to get⊠Displaced in your habitat againâŠâ The celestial being tried softly.
Syx swallowed and keyed up the main door they used to exit the large bots through. At least the ceilings here were tall, but he still eyed her hair nervously, âI⊠just donât want you to⊠swallow anything I love.â
