May Just One Word Book Photo Challenge- Day 5: Ombre
I was re-watching season 5 and got inspired to do a “Famous Last Words” thing. So here they are.
Long distance relationship long gone
It is crazy how time goes so fast.... this summer i have been living with Chris for three years and coming up to our 5 year anniversary.
10 days after my 3 year move date me and Chris will be moving to my home time to spend time with my family and save more money.
I now struggle to actual remember what it was like being in a long distance relationship, since living with chris the longest we have been apart has been 5 nights and i went straight back to long distance mode, i tried not to think about being apart, i kept myself busy with my family.
I know i am lucky to be living with Chris but i still have my days where i just cry and struggle to be happy. the home sick can be horrible but the future plans such as weeks at home or meeting up for a weekend away keep you going and now with planning to move home with Chris has been amazing, Chris is so happy about the move as well which makes me so happy.
Nearly five years since the long distance started and now living together engaged and planning our wedding :)
Back in Feburary i went to Walker Stalker London.
I have so many mixed reviews about this convention and if i was to attend more i will most likely end up ordering a V.I.P pass to make the weekend easier.
Firstly the queuing system to get in was different to other convention, you have to queue up to get your entry ticket then queue up again to pick up photoshoot vouchers then queue up again to get in.
The photoshoot area was very organised and moved along very quickly. they had separate lines depending on your ticket.
The autograph areas were not organised very well and most staff did not know what was going on, we went to find Melissa Mcbride queue and was told it was too busy and to come back later, we did and got told by someone else we should have a ticket number for the queue but they have stopped giving them out now so missed out on getting her autograph which was very annoying. This happened at 3 other guests tables. They even gave away too many tickets for some guests and people were being sent away.
I think having a V.I.P ticket would be handy as you can move to the front of the queue but i i think i would feel horrible for the other who have been queuing for longer
future plans :D
At the moment me and Chris are busy planning our move to my home time to spend some time with my family before making our big move to Cardiff.
We are also trying to save for our second holiday to Florida and our Harry Potter themed wedding
Feburary me and Chris went back to Harry Potter studios for the fifth time.
We wanted to see the Hogwarts Express. I decided to wear my Hufflepuff robes i got from America.
We had so much fun dancing around platform 93/4.
Since the start of our relationship Chris has always talked about U2 begin his favourite band that he would love to see them live again so when they announced a new tour i had to buy tickets.
The ticket release day, we spent about a hour trying to get tickets,we could not get tickets for London where we wanted, but managed to get standing tickets for Glasgow. We were happy to be going to Glasgow as my Gran and other family member live there and i had not seen her for nearly a year.
We arrived the day before the concert and spent time catching up with my Scottish family.
We decided not to get to concert too early as we were not too bothered about standing at the front as i am only 5ft 2 and would not have a good view being in the middle of the crowd but when we walk into the venue we were shocked to see the walkway barrier have some spaces so walked over and decided to stand there.
When the show started we were amazed and happy to find the band spent 80% of the show on the walkway mainly in front of us. Chris was so excited and over the moon singing his heart out to all the songs.
Before the concert i had heard of U2 and knew some songs but wasn’t a fan like my partner but i loved the concert and found the show amazing and entertaining.
We have already decided if they tour again we will try and get tickets.
September the 15th last year me and Chris went on our first aboard holiday together, When we were long distance we went to local British places for weekends away but with being long distance and spending all our money on seeing each other we were never able to save enough money for a big holiday.
When i moved away from home to live with Chris we booked a holiday as soon as i got a job. we booked for 9 nights in Florida and spent over a year paying for the holiday and saving spending money.
We were up early travelling to the airport and had booked ourselves a place in the V-room at Gatwick airport so we could have a breakfast and a rest when we arrive at the airport.
When we arrived at the V-room i popped to the toilet and when i came back Chris started talking about how much he loved me and so happy that we were living together and had so many fantastic plans for the future, he then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him while a member of staff placed a plate on the table with a muffin and “will you marry me” written on the plate.
I was so overwhelmed that i couldn't even reply, i just grabbed the ring ( my dream ring that i pointed out on a few occasions ) and put it on my finger then hugged him. Chris had passed his phone on a waiter while i was in the toilet and they had been taken pictures of the proposal.
We found out after the proposal that Chris was the first person to propose at the V-room and they took our photos and were going to write it up on the website.
About ten minutes later we were ringing family members and i discovered my whole family and his already knew, he had been planning this for over 9 months, my 8 year old sister knew about managed to keep it secret. We sat drinking champagne and eating a full English breakfast at 10:30 in the morning.
We boarded the plane and a few hours later my name was called out to go and see a air hostess, i was a bit worried thinking i was in trouble. i discovered my parents had ordered a bottle of champagne and chocolate to be given to us on the plane with a congratulations message.
This proposal was a complete shock and was the happiest day of my life. when me and Chris got together and was in a long distance relationship i never thought that four years later we would be living together and engaged.

Feel like i have abandoned this site….thinking might be easier to start again on a new site... Will decide today some point.... Will be trying to update more… Actually use this page as a blog 😀
