Omegaverse influencers must be especially obnoxious- making up bullshit cosmetic tips to 'enhance your omega allure/alpha charm' all while hawking flavored scent patches (they smell bad), sponsoring specialty hormone blockers (that don't work), and nesting pillows with their names on them (who wants that?)

Every week another one gets caught lying about their secondary gender, but they keep pushing videos and products, acting the persona for fewer and fewer views

I fucking love when people give in-universe reasons for omegaverse shenanigans being a relatively new phenomenon and not just a fact of life. And this is probably my favorite out of all of them. Insane choice, and I want to kiss the author sloppy style about it.

As we all know, the Spanish Flu caused the omegaverse. Iconic.

Boyfriend: You could trick them into following orders and thinking they’re dead by spraying them with a spritz bottle. I think they need a queen.

Me: So back to the soulmate thing…. Seems hellish!

Boyfriend: Not really. If being around the other person is what triggers the changes, if you want to go back to normal… all you need to do is leave.

Me, writing: (You found your soulmate. It’s changing you in scary ways. All you need to do is leave… how difficult would it be to leave? What pressures exist to stay?)

Boyfriend: So these ant-people—

The FFXV Remix revealed the authors today so I can now promo my piece! I wrote a backstory for a chapter of @avianscribe's fic "Cracked" -- the chapter where Ignis and Prompto are soulmates who can feel each others' pain. I sure had fun imagining how it came to be, and I hope it does the original justice!

Of course, Iggy needs his coffee! And Prompto? Prompto is having a steamed bun to warm his hand—and fill his stomach. It's getting colder... They should wear gloves later! But maybe Prompto prefer to hold Ignis's hand—without the glove?

I love FFXV so much and it's a pleasure to participate in fandom event! It's nice to see we're still—and always be—here, in our comfy little corner of the world where we love FFXV from the bottom of our heart.

The FFXV remix event reminded me that this story exists, and I'm awful proud of it. Have a taste:

“... The way you’re talking about this guy… You don’t. You know. Like him, do you?”

And there it was. Noctis might look lazy and standoffish and self-absorbed, but he was actually incredibly observant and why oh why was he using his Super-Elite Observation Powers now? 

“I mean,” Noct continued, “I never thought you were into guys? Especially since, you know, Cindy.”

“Noct, you know Cindy’s a goddess,” Prompto said. 

Noctis chuckled. “So how does this flower delivery guy compare?”

There was no way Prompto was having this conversation right now. “Sorry! Gotta run, Noct, but burgers at five sounds great, I’ll see you then!”

“Prompto, wait--”

Prompto ended the call with a flick of his thumb. He thought he should probably feel bad, but he didn’t want to talk to Noctis about his feelings--because he wasn’t really sure what his feelings were. Crushing on Cindy was safe, because she was married to her work at the shop. The only things she had eyes for were wings and spoilers on classic cars.

Ignis was not safe. Ignis was perfect. Ignis was completely unreachable. Ignis was likely to get him hurt--and he’d had enough hurt in his life, he didn’t want to actively seek it out, thank you very much.

And he definitely didn't want to chat about feelings with Noctis freaking Lucis Caelum. At least, not right now, when he totally didn't have any. None at all.

The FFXV Remix fics posted today and somebody wrote an absolutely stunning telling of Ignis's backstory in "I'll Shower You With Roses" and I definitely teared up reading it.

"I'll Shower You With Roses" was my first foray into Promnis and is a fond favorite, and I'm so glad it got singled out for this event; definitely, definitely go check it out (but bring tissues)... ಥ﹏ಥ
