omg thank you!! i'm a bit of a lit nerd so i can credit my prose to the books i read, which are mostly classics & poetry. i'll always recommend critical reading to ppl who are interested in improving their prose bc i think the easiest way to study sentence structure is to watch other people have a go at it
OK it's hilarious scrolling through your posts and occasionally you just leave in the tags that you despise macaque's ass lmaaao. I can't tell what kind of macaque hater you are though. Is it like "I don't care for his character, I care when he's with wukong" or is it just kind of like cuteness aggression or something. Not trying to be dense.
the hate i hold for that malefic creature has been carefully cultivated for nearly five years and is bred from the deepest, darkest recesses of my twisted, spiteful soul.
that is to say i genuinely despise him and i spend every waking moment of my life hoping and praying to any god that will listen that the show writers will grant me one singular act of mercy and finally kill him off

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM
something of note that i found cool that i haven't seen anyone else bring up was the fact that xiang liu, in mythology, was associated with floods and destruction.
and in jttw, when we're introduced to wukong's staff, it's noted that it was used to protect people against floods (by the great yu i believe?) and now the chaos powers that we've seen xiang liu use are seemingly attached to his staff.
this is kind of me just throwing this out there because i found the connection interesting. tbh, i doubt the show would actually do something with this and it's most likely a fun coincidence but still it's an interesting observation.
something about the idea of wukong's staff being used to enact the very thing it was supposed to protect against... it intrigues me. also yknow. wukong has a huge disadvantage in water considering he's stone. would be cool to see.
lady bone demon was genuinely lmk's best written villain.
it kind of makes me mourn how we barely got any time with azure or xiang liu because they feel less well rounded compared to her. the scene in s5 where she makes a brief appearance still confirms to me that her aura is simply unmatched. that momentary appearance managed to outshine xiang liu's entire reveal, which is a bummer because it was his season.
also her dynamic with macaque was fun i need her to come back and torment him again.
