BIOGRAPHY:
TW: Death and Loss
Wesley was born to the Kennedy’s family of lawyers, doctor, and politicians. One would think that coming from a family that was rich would make his life easy but his birth and his childhood were not easy but that was not the case.
Many of the Kennedy’s did not marry out of love but out of political reasons so to say. One would say that Wesley was a result of love which is something that makes him different and makes him stand out from the rest of his family. Before Wesley was born his father was already bestowed to another woman named Sophia Blackwell but Andrew was not in love with her and did not want to marry her because he was in love with Wesley’s mother Allison who he had known since he was a child and who came from not a high-class family. Andrew’s parents were aware of their son’s love interest and did everything they could to break them up but in the end, they could not do anything.
The week before Andrew’s and Sophia’s wedding, Andrew and Allison fled the state and ended up together and married because he did not want to marry someone that he did not love. Because of that Andrew’s parents cut him off unless he left Allison and married Sophia, but Andrew did not care. Money and Pressure from Andrew’s family ended up getting to both Andrew and Allison and they decided that it would best if Andrew followed his parents’ wishes. Andrew divorced and left Allison when she was a few weeks pregnant, but she never told him because she knew that he would stay, and she only told Andrew’s parents. Andrew did not find out that Allison was pregnant until after she gave birth to Alex and a month after dying from a terrible illness. Wesley was taken in by his father and the rest of the family because he was a Kennedy, but his wife Sophia hated the idea but could not protest.
Growing up Andrew’s family sometimes treated Wesley like he was invisible because of his birth and story and even his grandmother treated him like he was not a member of the family. He never got attention from his father, stepmother, or grandmother. The only person that showed him attention was his grandfather and younger twin brothers.
Growing up and watching his half-sibling get the attention that he always wanted made him feel bad about himself. When he was teenager and started high school his grandfather, the only person that cared, loved, and raised him died, Wesley started making bad decisions and he also ended up developing depression and almost took his life because of his depression and how he was treated by his family. After finishing college, Wesley went to college where he was able to find himself, get help and distance himself from his family. He became happy.
Wesley made it through his residency and became a pediatric surgeon with a background in medicine. It was how he met his ex through their child. The two of them got close and developed feelings for each other but their relationship ended up ending and Wes getting his heart broken. After the night of his breakup, he ended up sleeping with one of his best friends which resulted in the birth of his son.
The two of them stayed close and Wesley helped with his best friend’s pregnancy and was there for her. Wesley promised himself to be a good dad and he was happy a few months ago after his son was born his son’s mother and his best friend passed due to an accident leaving him a single dad. Wesley, being hurt, parked everything and moved with his son to New Bellevoux, closer to be closer to his son’s grandparents.
"Puzzles were something I always did growing up." he nodded as he agreed. "There something my family have always loved doing. In fact, a lot of those came from my parents house. Well, the ones that aren't kid puzzles anyways." he shrugged, returning his attention to his friend. "It's no problem. I hope you can enjoy them." he smiled. At the question August offered the other a small smile. "I've been good. Not too much." he admitted, though exhaled. "Trying not to get myself in trouble again, actually."
Wesley nodded as he listened. When Wesley was little during summers he often spent a lot of time in his grandfather office alone doing puzzles while he waited for his grandfather to be done with meetings which were often very long and plus his grandfather had a collection. "I can relate and understand. The puzzles my grandfather had in his office were not really kid friendly and were hard," he spoke with a smile.
"Glad you have been good and Oh? That's good you are not trying to get into trouble again."

Wesley had some time off and it was something that he really needed. It had been awhile since he was able to catch up on things he needed to catch up on and also he enjoyed all the free time he had been spending with his son. He had made a few meal, after hearing that Aurora's kid was sick and decided to take them over. Logan held on to his stuff animal as he stood by Wesley, as the doctor manage to knock on the door with his hands full with food.
"It's okay dude, we've all been there," Brad smiled with a nod. "I get it, I mean I'm the oldest of two so I know," though thankfully he was close with his sister and they both helped out with their parents. "is there anything I can help with?"
He smiled nodding his head. "So you understand the responsibility and it's even harder when you basically raised your siblings," he spoke. After their grandfather passing, Wesley was the one that was there for his siblings and helped as much as he could. Despite that one of his siblings still hated him and wanted to take him down too. "I don't think there is anything anyone can help with sadly."
Laurel offered a small, knowing smile, shifting her weight slightly as she studied him. “No, you really couldn’t,” she teased lightly, but there was an underlying warmth to her tone. She wasn’t the type to pry, but she wasn’t oblivious either. At his admission, her expression softened. “Rough week, huh?” she echoed, tilting her head slightly. “I get that.” And she did—more than she cared to admit. There was something about the way he shrugged, like he was trying to make it seem smaller than it really was, that struck a chord with her. She considered pressing for more but instead opted for a different approach. “You wanna talk about it, or should I just do my best distraction routine?” she asked, quirking a brow. “I’ve been told I’m excellent at changing the subject when necessary.”
Wesley was always a ray of sunshine, especially when he walked into a room he had this bright vibe about him. Always smiling and making people smile. His grandfather always called him his little Sun Ray when he was little. When Wesley was sad and distracted and he could not hide it, it was like the clouds had covered the sun. "Rough few months," he answered shrugging his shoulders as he ran his through his and a heavy sigh escaped his lips. He smiled, "I say bring on the distraction for sure. I need it since I don't feel like talking."
As Brad sat across from Wesley, he got lost in his thoughts and blabbed on about some random patient that was presenting with symptoms he hadn't seen before. But after a while he could see how his friend was lost in his own thoughts, and Brad took a beat and then a sip of his coffee. Raising an eyebrow and then chuckling, he shook his head, "it's all good. You seem a bit out of it though. Everything okay?"
"I guess it really obvious for sure," he replied as a sigh escaped his lips. He ran his hands through his hair for a moment. Letting out another heavy sigh. "Just a lot of stuff going on and wondering how I can handle everything. Sometimes being the oldest and most responsible one is----is just hard."
August smiled as the other stated that he used to do puzzles a lot growing up. "I did too. They were a staple weekend pass time when I was growing up too." he nodded. "It was something I passed on to the girls, or well, tried, but, Ginny doesn't have the patience for puzzles and most of them are below Josie's development, so." he shrugged, laughing a little. "I'm just thankful to be able to pass them on. I hope you're able to enjoy them." @thewesleyxkennedy
"It was so fun. I enjoyed it a lot during summers. My grandfather always had a puzzle anytime we went on vacation and that was something we would all play and he would also make a game out of it. The first to solve it in a certain amount of time would get a prize or something," he chuckled thinking back. "I totally get that and understand. Thanks again for this," he smiled.
⸻ The blonde was a bit in despair of not knowing what to do with her daughter's whimpers and cries. It also gives her headaches. Maybe, she should go and see a doctor, if she continues to be like this. Her hand smoothed the back of her little girl. ❛ Sure! I will try it, if not stop, then I shall go to emergency because this is not normal, she hasn't stopped crying since she woke up. I did check if she had a fever, but she wasn't. ❜ The blonde stood up, adjusting Bonnie on her arms, to pull the empty stroll and her daughter in her arms. ❛ Where is your place? ❜
Wesley nodded his head as he listened. He really hopped that the CD would help and that she would not have to go see a doctor. Even as a doctor, sometimes his dad mode and panic overrode his doctor brain sometimes. He also knew how taking a child to the hospital can be scary for parents. Wesley stood up and called Logan. "It's just a 10 minute walk from here," he answered glad that his place was so very close by.
⸻ Aurora picked Bonnie in her since she was still crying, at least whimpering when she was in her arms, instead of crying. Her two-month-old daughter, rubbed her back as if she was attempting to smooth her. ❛ I would love that! I think if she didn't stop crying, it is better for me to go to the hospital.❜ She mused. ❛ I tried everything, food, changing clothing… But I will need your CD to see how it goes for this angel here. ❜
Wesley really wished he could help. He understood and he had been in Aurora's shoes in the past and it was hard. He hated at the moment there was nothing to do he could help. "Ya, I have had parents come in with kids who have bad colic," he spoke looking both at her and Bonnie. "If you want to tag along and walk with me home. I can just give you the CD that will make things easier."
Laurel had been stirring her drink absentmindedly, her fingers wrapped around the warm cup as she enjoyed the rare moment of quiet. She hadn’t meant to stare, but the way the man seemed lost in his own world caught her attention. He looked exhausted, the kind of tiredness that went beyond lack of sleep—a weight she recognized all too well. When he suddenly spoke, she blinked, realizing she might have been caught watching him. A small, understanding smile tugged at her lips as she shook her head. "No, I didn’t say anything," she reassured him, her tone light. "But you looked like you were somewhere far away for a second." She took a sip of her drink before tilting her head slightly. "Rough day?"
Wesley smiled back at her as she replied. Wesley knew it could come up as rude if someone was speaking and the other was just zoned out. He just could not help it at all and plus he was alone and by himself. "I guess I could not hide it then," he replied as a sigh a sigh escaped his lips. "Ya but I will say more of a rough week honestly," he added shrugging his shoulders.

The doctor did not remember when he had a day like this to relax and breath. Things had been crazy and hard, that he had not had a moment for himself and plus trying to sort out family drama and still stay out of the mess too. His son was with their grandparents who took him for the day. The doctor had cleaned and organized before heading out to grab something to drink. He was zoned out for a moment. "Am so sorry, I don't know if you said something or not," he spoke in a soft and kind voice as he looked at them.
The transition to being a parent of two had been a lot more exhausting than Elliot had thought it would be. Hell, he had forgotten how tired he was during the newborn stage with Sawyer but now chasing after her while taking care of a brand new baby? He was pretty sure he was merely running on coffee at this point. But with Sawyer at preschool for the day and still having time off from work with baby Archer, Elliot found himself at the coffee shop. Balancing a cup of coffee in one hand and a baby on his chest as he spotted an all too familiar face. An eyebrow raising in amusement as he watched the other man's lips, sitting his coffee down on the corner of his table as he brought both of his own hands back up. "Ah, was sort of wondering if you were alive over here or not-" He laughed softly, nodding towards the empty chair, silently asking if he could take a seat.
Wesley smiled at Elliot, nodding his head and letting his friend know that Elliot is welcome to take a seat. It had been awhile since he had seen the other and he felt the other's company could help distract him. He did not feel like going home to a quiet house, since his son was with their grandfather on a trip. "I am alive barely but alive," he joked a smile and chuckle escaping from his lips. "How are you two doing?"

⸻ Aurora was a tad surprised to hear it was a CD… ❛ A CD? ❜ Because she does not really have where to put the CD to play the music, not devices for it at home. ❛ I could use the CD, if I had somewhere to play. Unless I can find a place to copy the music so I can hear them, or well Bon-Bon. ❜ Her daughter is a bit hyperactive. And the blonde was visibly exhausted. ❛ Anyway, thanks for the offer. At the least, Logan got distracted by something.❜ She smirks.
Wesley laughed shaking his head. He was not surprise at all by her reaction. Wesley was sometimes old school and also embraced new technology as well. He still had a CD player and tons of CDs. Plus he also had a record player too. "Yup, a CD," he answered with a smile on his face. "I have a CD player that I can give you. I have a few and will just burn a copy and can also convert it into digital too but I think CD is better." he added.
"You're welcome. Ya, Logan has so much energy you have no idea. Moments like this when he is distracted, I can use it to just breath."
The familiar shake of flight creeps up the column of Selim's spine. Wesley spoke to him as if no time had passed them, as if running into him in the middle of a grocery store miles from where they had parted ways was normal, average, without so much as a hint of hurt in his tone. He spoke to his remaining care and occupied thought but when he turns the conversation toward Logan, that's when his triggers begin speaking for him. "Wesley, I...it was good to see you but I-I have- um..." Dark eyes find his watch and then they meet the waving hand of a toddler; he ignores it despite the way guilt slips up from his stomach into the back of his throat.
"I have to pick Ayla up from dance in fifteen...she'll kill me if I leave her standing at the door...really, it was good to see you." Selim whispers, placing a hand on his ex's bicep before turning to leave.
If Wesley was honest, he would say that he was very disappointed that their conversation was already over. He wished he had more time to talk to the other and their short time talking made him realize that he missed this. He missed their text and calls but he would not say that out loud and he wondered if Selim still felt anything. The guy would have already moved on by now Wes thought to him as he smiled.
"It was good seeing you too. I don't want to keep you," he replied back with a smile and nodded. "Hopefully we can cross paths again," he added before Selim turned to the feeling of their touch still lingering.
⸻ ❛ Ohh, do tell me… ❜ Aurora felt like a zombie, smoothing her daughter's back, and her little one remains whimpering, at this rate even her ears accustomed to the sound of her daughter's cry. What frustrated her the most is that her baby did not ceased of crying and she couldn't recognized what is the reason, she wasn't hungry, nor dirty diapers… She slept very badly too on that night. ❛ Bonnie is draining my soul today. How's Logan? ❜
"I remember what really helped me was this song that I used to play. The music seem to help calm Logan down. I still have the CD that I can give you and hopefully that helps," he spoke. His best friend had given him the CD and that really helped him a lot. "Ah I see. Am sorry," he added. "Logan is good. He is having fun and playing with the other kids." @aurorawalker
⸻ The day looked beautiful, and Bonnie was crying too much. Aurora tried everything from feeding her, changing her, distracting her… It was safe to say, she couldn't find the reason why Bonnie was being so complicated that day, she barely slept at night ( she didn't sleep at all ) . Aurora went to the park to see if her daughter's mood improved, but how to calm a two-month-old? The blonde was in the park, still in her PJ, with no makeup with Bonnie wide awake in her arms, but a bit antsy. She looked at Wesley with her tired eyes. ❛ Hi Wesley, everything is good. Wonderful. What's up? ❜ Just when she says that Bonnie begins to whimper again, and Aurora smoothing her daughter's back. ( @thewesleyxkennedy )
"Sounds like the kiddo is in a mood today," he replied when he heard Bonnie begin to whimper, he totally understood and got that. When Logan was younger, it was often hard sometimes to calm Logan down and nothing he did helped. "Not much. Finally getting some fresh air since I have some free time and trying to see if we can burn off some of the energy that Logan has today."
"Grace and I were clearing out some of the girls old toys and some puzzles that we had multiples of that I wanted to bring to you." August admitted, placing the bag of toys on the closest countertop nearby. Despite the fact that Wesley had a son a bit older than August's youngest daughter Francesa, and August had all girls, there were always several toys and things that he was trying to clean out of his house to donate to others that needed it. Puzzles just happened to be the most recent clean out for him. "If there's anything in here you don't want, or can't use, find someone you know that can." he admitted, eyes focused on his friend. "I do not want them back." @thewesleyxkennedy
Wesley smiled and could not help but laugh at his friend's last words. The doctor loved puzzles, he and his grandfather used to do a lot of puzzles together. He had been thinking of doing it with Logan too. He had a feeling that his son would love it, well his son loved almost any toy. "Thanks, it's been awhile since I have done puzzles. Used to do it a lot growing up with my grandfather," he spoke with a smile on his face. "Okay, fine. I would not give them back to you but don't blame me if they somehow find a way back to you," he added teasing with a grin on his face.
