Indian Rock Chat or Brown Rock Chat

The brown rock chat or Indian chat, is a bird species of the family Muscicapidae. It is found mainly in northern and central India. It is often found on old buildings and rocky areas. It resembles a female Indian robin but lacks the reddish vent and differs in posture and behaviour apart from being larger.

This beautiful bird of prey is a resident species of India and is easily seen near human habitation apart from forested areas.

The Village Haats or Local make shift farmer's market are very common sighting in Indian villages. These kind of markets are amazing and carry a mystic aura. The nature of these markets are vibrant and taste is pure. Sadly, due to rapid urbanization villages too loosing there essence and younger generation is missing a tradition of life.
