(if my spelling sucks it because my fingers work too slowly, my brain works too fast. and coz sometimes i type with my phone and they keyboard sucks :) also when you see massive updates here like 10 posts in a day its because the adhd is working on it so i dont stop until i hit a block. I have most of the stuff on this masterlist already in a google docs so its a matter of editing until i feel it fits the universe of my rewrite.)

✨ soft magic winx redesigns (probably not the final versions)

the goal was to give them a somewhat closer feel to enchantix while not making too many changes (except Musa ended up getting a completely different outfit but anyway lol) since magic winx seems a bit too modern in comparison. i'm not 100% satisfied with the results, so i might change them a bit in the future.

Honestly nothing else fits because remember in s2 when there was a monster at red fountain and it was going for flora and helia roped it till flora was safe and just. Let it go. AND WALKED AWAY. Hilarious btw

I was thinking about the body proportions of the charachters and i just want to put it down here. I dont exactly know how to describe their weight or anything so if i dont say any further explanation its just anything normal? (What is normal even D:)also some numbers will differ because iuse the metric system normally so the imperial is going to be off.

Bloom and sky - she is 5’8 or 172cm and he is about 6’1 182cm

bloom is very average looking before she finds out shes a fairy, thru the series she gains more muscle def in her arms tho. Sky is just a little bigger than timmy

Techna and timmy - she is 5’3 or 158cm and he is 5’4 or 163cm

techna is pretty stick-y kinda thin. Not really concerning but she is v smol, timmy is slim-fit. Im thinkin like a swimmer build or a cyclist

Stella and brandon - she is 6’ or 183cm and he is 6’5 or about 195cm

stella is CURVY i love her she is tall n curvy yippee. Brandon is im imagining a bodybuilder but during a bulk

Flora and helia - she is 5’7 or 170 cm and he is 6’3 or 190cm

flora’s got sum sturdy arms, helia is a gentle giant he is BEEFY and has many scars that r kinda his backstory for why he was kicked out of red fountain and also a pacifist

Musa and riven - she is 5’6 or 167cm (same height as me :D) and riven is 5’10 or 177cm

im projecting on musa so she looks like me basically not that yall know what i look like exactly. Riven is a bodybuilder on a cut, not extreme but there is definition and has proportionally less leg muscle definition because he ignores leg day sometimes

Aisha and nabu - she is 5’5 or 165cm and he is 5’11 or 179cm

aisha’s got abs, nabu’s just a generic guy maybe slight muscle definition because he does do some acrobatics

Icy - 5’7 or 171cm.

She is also curvy, slightly less than stella.

Darcy - 5’11 or 180cm.

She is tall and VERY skinny. Like concerningly so.

Stormy - 5’2 or 155 cm

its all that compressed rage and chaos

Yes all the guys have muscles (except for nabu) they r all specialists im assuming PT is a large part of their curriculum.

Inspiration wise, Im specifically basing musa off of me, riven is based off a friend of mine, stella is taylor swift and my friend (who ironically doesnt like taylor), brandon is based on travis kelce, techna is another friend of mine, bloom is also another friend, for Darcy Think ariana and cynthia erivo during wicked press tour. Stormy is based off ANOTHER friend of mine (very short very compressed rage), and lastly, helia is based off halsin from bg3 <3

Im currently rewriting season 2 of my winx rewrite and i changed the main villain’s sidekick to lucy instead of the trix. And as much as i lovelovelove the mega trix, im going to swap her with kind of like a mega lucy who will look a lot like a spider-woman (not as in part of a spiderverse, but as in she will have extra hands and legs and maybe the abdomen)

Selkies and pixies.

Ive also been thinking about the selkies and pixies and i think ill imagine them more like nature sprites (inspired by plants and/or animals) rather than just smaller versions of fairies and mermaids. And not chibi.

DARK SIRENIX AND SIRENIX REDISIGN

OMG i love the og oil spill aesthetic for the trix BUT since sirens can also be seen as bird ladies, so the idea is maybe MAYBEE

We take the fish ppl version of a siren and and bird ppl version of a siren and kinda j choose one for the trix and one for the winx (im leaning towards a more bird person one for the winx because of the wings)

But im still thinking about it since the thought literally JUST made it into my brain.

(Also i think mermaidix exists in the comics and even thiugh my rewrite wont be taking the comics into account because i am wholly unfamiliar with them, it IS another reason i was thinking about making the winx the bird people version of a siren and the trix maybe the fish people version, plus the trix would match the aesthetic of tritannus’s mutated mermaids(they would of course look better n more powerful and not mind controlled))

I was noodling on this while on pinterest and honestly i think it all fits pretty well, stormy would have an eel tail (electricity), darcy would have octopus tentacles (ink and darkness), but im not sure about icy. Im thinking between just a classic shark? Or maybe a lionfish? Or a killer whale tail.

If i decide to include politea as an evil version of a nymph or something, i might give her a scary tail too (jellyfish? Lionfish?), but im honestly thinking about it being a mix.

Because in my rewrite being a nymph is a job, its not separate from you being a fairy or a witch. So you could be a nymph who is a witch just like how daphne is a fairy and the nymph of domino. Sirenix is kind of how people used to recognise who are nymphs (before they were all wiped out by the ancestral witches). So nymphs who are witches would have tails and those who are fairies would have wings. (For the trix specifically there will still be the oil spill aesthetic because they didnt gain sirenix properly anyway)

The winx will have normal, aquatic fin-wings but i did also see this on pinterest which i think would be an interesting fit for them. Or at least something that looks like it outfit wise?
