We lost our parents in a murder-suicide, and we're suddenly left with expenses we are not prepared for and unable to maintain. Anything can help, so i ask you to share this as far as possible. Thank you in advance.
Please share if possible

This site is not only full of deliberate disinformation and hoaxes, it’s rife with anti-intellectualism.
I encourage people to research anything that sounds fantastic and totally different than what they were taught - even in my posts.
If you see a blog post with startling information, do the CRAAP Test! (developed by Sarah Blakeslee and her team of librarians at California State University, Chico)
Currency: What is the copyright, publication, or posting date? Does the date matter? Is the information outdated?
Relevance: For what audience or level is the information written (general public, experts/scholars, etc.)?
Authority: Who is the author, creator, or publisher of the source or what organization is responsible for the source? How do you know if the author is an expert on the topic (e.g examine the author’s credentials and/or organizational affiliation)?
Accuracy: What indications do you see that the information is or is not well researched or provides sufficient evidence? What kind of language, imagery and/or tone is used (e.g. emotional, objective, professional, etc.)?
Purpose: Why was this source written (e.g.to inform, teach, entertain, persuade)? How might the author’s affiliation affect the point of view, slant, or potential bias of the source?

wait I think I didn’t post these here…
Australia’s world-first ban on social media for children under 16 takes effect in just over a month on December 10, 2025, yet nobody knows e
The Australian Human Rights Commission warned that “all Australians may be required to prove their identity in order to access social media” and that “this may potentially require all Australians to provide social media companies with sensitive identity information, which poses a risk to our privacy rights in light of recent examples of data breaches.” Meta was fined €251 million in 2024 for inadequate data protection, yet now must build age verification systems handling biometric data for millions. Discord has already compromised the identity of 68,000 Australians. Digital Rights Watch emphasised that “most forms of age verification require the provision of additional personal information” and that “incentivising companies and government agencies to collect, use and store additional personal information in order to conduct age verification creates additional privacy and security risk, which in-turn can exacerbate online harms.”
Prime example of idiots who don't know how the internet works passing a law. Not to mention all the disabled/queer kids who'll lose community because of this poorly thought out bullshit.
Look, it's simple. If a person has to actively work to make money, they're not "the rich" and they're not the problem. A surgeon making $200k a year still stops making money if they stop showing up to do surgery, because they're still selling their labor. The radical discrepancies in how we value different skills are certainly a problem, but the guy who makes money when he doesn't even get out of bed is the one making money on the value of other people's labor.
Wonder what happened to the dinosaurs? This is a baby Blue Heron.
