Tell us what was it really like to work with Celebrity hair stylist, Kiyah Wright? Was it everything you imagined? Give us the tea honey! And we like it sweet!
Working with Kiyah was surreal. The entire time I struggled to believe that I was actually standing next to Kiyah, or standing next to NIa Long.....lol! At this stage of my career, to be in the presence of what I attain to be, was more than amazing. Kiyah was motivational, professional, critical, sincere, and most of all real.
If you had to do it all over again, would you and why?
If the opportunity ever came to do it again, without a doubt I'm all in! Im thinking a week next time! Sometimes you need to experience things more than once for it to set in!!!
What advice would you give her next victim assistant?
To any stylist looking for a mentor, coach, and a realist, Kiyah is all that and more, and for that I am grateful. And we will meet again, and possibly share each other clients one day, because im using all of my bag of kiyah tricks!
How do you feel this opportunity with Kiyah will affect your career as a hair stylist?
I yearned for not only her knowledge, but what it takes to be in that place, staying power. I took with me an urgency to live for me and all of my aspirations, work harder then hard, and set out to be great!
