“Right now? Here? Or should we go to bed and relax?” He ran his hand over her hair affectionately.

She practically purred and smiled at him lovingly. “Let’s go to bed, love. I wanna spend time with you..”

“Okay. Sounds good.” He nodded standing with her heading to the fridge for a second and pulling out two pints of ice cream then nodding towards the hallway sneaking off with her from the group he had basically organized. “I like time with you alone much better anyway.” Loki teased nudging her lightly making sure to walk at a slow enough pace for her damaged leg.

She walked slowly with him, smiling “Me too..” She blushed a bit

“I’d be offended if you didn’t.” He joked waiting up at the door to their room before opening it for her. “Bed and ice cream. What a combination.” He laughed lightly.

She smiled and hobbled to the bed, flopping on it "Cuddle me."

“You’re welcome.” Loki glanced around at everyone. “I believe a few of them are quite drunk. How are you feeling? It’s a bit late.” He looked at the clock seeing it was just about midnight. “Just inform me of what you want.” He kissed her cheek trying to be the best significant other he could be.

An hour passed of everyone just getting along and telling their favorite stories of Taylor and the whole crew.  They had been drinking through the whole time, the conversation getting more and more cheerful as they got a buzz going. Loki blushed when Taylor kissed his cheek in front of everyone, earning a teasing from his brother.

She giggled softly as Thor teased him, leaning on his shoulder with a small yawn and a smile as she watched the team.

Loki put an arm around her settling in and watching as everyone started to tell their own stories, distracted by the alcohol. “See, you mean a lot to everyone here. No matter what you are doing.” Loki whispered in her ear.

Loki knew that one thing that would keep this meeting going was drinks, so he passed them around to everyone before sitting down next to Taylor as everyone recounted stories from missions, and stories of her in regular life laughing and smiling at her cracking jokes. Loki, not being a big fan of PDA, made an exception and slipped his fingers in between hers glancing at her with a smile.

She was blushing the whole time, laying out shy laughs every now and then. She smiled at Loki when he took her hand,kissing his cheek quickly

“Of course you are.” Loki was trying to help her, but felt like she wasn’t buying it. “How do I prove it to you? Have the team come down here? Because they will surely say the exact thing I did. We all care about you. You are way more than just a mission.”

“I know you think that Loki but… I just wish I did too…” She said quietly

“I’ll prove it to you.” He glanced at her finished cast before scooping her up. He walked with her to the elevator and then walked out to the living room. “Everyone, Taylor is feeling a bit…” he glanced at her “Unimportant. So, I was thinking maybe we all cheer her up.” Loki set her down and started pouring drinks.

Tony started laughing walking up. “Sure thing.” He sat down as everyone gathered around them all eager to help her out.

"No wait-" She was cut off as he spoke to the group and she blushed deeply, sighing through her nose.

She sighed and hugged him, cuddling his side “I…I don’t know who I am without the team and missions…” She sighed

“You have time to figure it out. And you are still a part of the team, you always will be.” His arm curled around her holding her close. “You are better than missions, you are more than what you do love.”

He kissed her temple, watching for any sign of pain. It was clear how she was holding things back from him, but he didn’t want to call her out right now. He would wait, and maybe she would eventually talk to him about it.

A tear slipped out as the doctor walked out. She sighed softly.

Loki rubbed her back softly. “Hey, that’s not too bad.” He was doing his best to convince her things were okay. She seemed so depressed right now.

She smiled, putting on a brave face for Loki “No its not.” She hummed.

He gave a little nod, happy that everything seemed okay for the moment being. Loki watched as the doctor went to work on the cast for her.
