ok it’s really easy ok… listen here! get some champagne yeast cause it’s cheap and easy to get. get some filtered water and like ~2 lbs of honey, sanitize everything the water will touch

boil honey and ¾ of a gallon of water together until its combined, cool a little and pour into your jug (i have special glass jugs but you can use a clean plastic juice container), add the rest of your filtered water until you have like a 3” space between the top of the water and the top of the jug, combine yeast packet and some warm water in a separate container (not a lot of water, just enough for it to be stirred into) and add it to the rest of your liquid

instead of putting a cap on it, put a balloon over the top so it doesn’t explode! you’ll have a pretty dry alcohol in like 2 months but you can age it even longer if you want to develop it more

I went to see Bo Burnham’s new live show and I brought my cat with me because, idk, it seemed like a good idea? So Bo was doing his comedy thing and all was good until he stopped mid-song and yelled to “put the lights up!” The audience was all. “Haha, okay maybe this is just part of his act,” but then he singled me out and asked, “Is that a cat in your lap?” I had no choice but to answer that it was because it was obvious and I was not going to LIE, everyone can see that it is a cat. It turned out that my cat had been sneaking off to Bo Burnham’s house every now and then and he thought it was a stray and he had gotten kinda attached so now Bo and I co-owned a cat together.

striped icebergs form as meltwater refreezes in crevasses atop glaciers before air bubbles can become trapped in the ice later calved into icebergs, or when supercooled seawater freezes inside cracks beneath an ice shelf, which then becomes visible when the iceberg breaks off and flips. 

over time, the weight of accumulated snow contorts and curves these blue bands of ice, as does erosion from waves and wind. dust and volcanic ash falling on the iceberg can can darken the ice, while dissolved organic compounds entering from below can shade it towards cyan. 

accumulated snow also compresses air bubbles trapped in the iceberg, thus preventing them from otherwise interfering with the passage of light. and because water absorbs photons from the red end of the visible spectrum much better than the blue end, bubble free ice takes on a blue colour.

Jack Frost animation for my final hand in this year! - it was supposed to be 5 seconds long so i did 9! (so good at timing i am) It’s not cleaned up yet but i’ll hopefully do that then add shading and maybe colour over summer! *(character design belongs to dreamworks, i take no credit for the design)*

How did you get your powers?

That's a bit of a long story. So, I was iceskating with my sister but the ice was just to thin. It began cracking under her, and she was so scared. I knew I had to get her off, but not how. If she put all her weight on one foot to step, she would fall in. If she stayed on longer, she'd fall in. It was horrible. But then I saw this stick, like a shepherd's crook! I needed her to get a little closer, and when she did, I pulled her to safety. Unfortunately, it put me in her spot. The ice couldn't support my weight and I fell.I guess the Man in the Moon was watching, I guess he saw me die for her. I know I saw him. The moon shown incredibly bright, I remember. And then, I remember being reborn, coming out of a frozen pond and into the air. I remember discovering I could talk to the wind, that it was my friend. That I could make things cold, make things freeze. That's what I remember.But, as to specifics? Who knows? I can only guess. It probably was mostly some sort of moon magic thing, mixed with something that was already a part of me (my center. I think it has to do with that) and a dash of my surroundings. Ie: frozen water and snow. Manny knows, that's for sure. As soon as I can get him to talk to me, I'll let you know what really happened.
