What I Think on RM’s “Seoul” on his playlist, Mono

- first off, i just love how namjoon would make a song about certain things and also include him in it. 

- also how he could take the listener to his world and see how he sees things

- obviously he makes a song about seoul 

     - but it’s fucking beautiful how he expresses it lyrically

     - it’s like in this song, it also showcase an aspect about life and how love and hate are two things that exists and at times would appear similar

- i think it’s about his hometown, belongingness and the feel of home

- he mentions the negative side seoul and what i think is the environment and society of the city, however despite these flaws it seems is becoming more attached to seoul 

- the fact that he mentioned how love and hate is similar is just UUGGHHSSKJASDHKAJ

- i also love how in this song, it’s his take/observation/perspective on the city where he grew up

- in a world where it’s messed up and in situations where there are grey areas, sometimes we accept the flaws and see something beautiful out of it. namjoon writes a song about seoul’s flaws and all but still loving it and has a special place for him. it also shows that you don’t need to feel nor experience it with an actual person. it could be something that is in nature, a moment, or a place just like seoul.

- i really love this track and it does not mean that i appreciate the other tracks less. this album is the best shit i have ever heard. all of the tracks make me feel in a type of way and also connect or relate to. there’s just something on this track, seoul, that’s close to my heart, melody and lyric wise.

for now it is in bullet points but i plan to make it paragraph form and fix my flow of thought, even the grammar. I just want to express my thoughts on this song and throw it out there since the lyric video just dropped. The video is so aesthetic and it fits the mood of the song much. i can’t. 

I hope everyone enjoyed listening to namjoon’s playlist, especially seoul. I hope you enjoyed it the same way i did.. crying, being emotionally unstable and all. It’s great seeing people’s own interpretation on it and it’s great if we continue to share. Don’t forget to stream this masterpiece cause it’s what our president deserves!!

My Account

I actually have two accounts where I can do random blog posts, one is tumblr and the other is wordpress. It is my first time doing blogs and maybe I could be trashy here because I really want to write stuff about kpop. I also do not know what to expect or what to do next. This is also my first time having a tmblr account and I’m trying to explore more of it. I thought of doing blogs so that I can improve on my writing and maybe share my trashy thoughts on kpop. Hopefully, I would enjoy and be really progressive.
