I hope it gets better.. - (They/them)
I had to shorten this to 10 tweets, but here’s my take on Walter Scott.

and more….
Back in my day, we didn’t have menu screens. When a movie ended it was replaced by a tranquil, bright blue screen that suddenly became screeching, demonic static if you didn’t turn off the TV in time.

things that help the trans community:
fighting against discriminatory laws that oppress trans people
supporting inclusive laws that protect trans people
confronting people who use hateful, violent language against trans people
correcting people who misgender trans people, or use the wrong name, when said trans person isn’t around to defend themselves
combating language that implies that men have certain body parts/functions, and women have others (such as having a penis = male, and pregnancy and menstruation = female)
raise awareness of the violence trans people face from law enforcement
raise awareness on the violence trans people face in prison
raise awareness of the violence trans people face from the medical and psychological communities
raise awareness of the violence trans people face in places of employment
raise awareness of the rate of homelessness within the trans community, especially trans youth
raise awareness of the rate of murder trans people face, especially trans women of color
raise awareness of the hatred and discrimination trans people of color, especially trans women of color, face
discuss transphobia within the LGBTQIA+ community, and ways to end it
listen to the experiences of trans people
listen to trans people when they tell you what they want/need, or do not want/need, from allies
accepting that trans people might use pronouns you don’t understand, because that’s what makes them feel good about themselves
accepting that trans people don’t always arrive at the realization that they’re trans at the same time, with the same backstory
accepting that gender can be fluid; some people might be very solid in their identity, some people might not be, but they are all trans regardless of how static (or not) their identity is
accept that at some point you will say or do something transphobic, because society teaches people to be, and vow to learn and grow from it rather than get angry at trans people who point out the error
things that do not help the trans community:
screaming at otherkin
calling people ‘transtrenders’
blaming trans people for the violence and discrimination brought upon them by cisgender people (which falsely implies that if people were “properly trans”, cisgender people would treat the trans community better)
reblog this with how you pronounce "lmao" in the tags
I’m so angry that cremated remains are called cremains like are you fucking serious… how am I meant to take that seriously…

oscar wilde was a chubby bisexual man who was deaf.
thank you for your time.
i can’t believe that shrek started out as a film making fun of disney’s capitalistic crap and then three sequels, two holiday specials, one spinoff, one musical and unlimited amount of merch later became the very thing that inspired it’s originally satirical existence… you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
i can’t fucking believe shrek sold out the revolution
Shrek has become the symbol of reactionary corporatism that we see reflected in libertarian politicians who preach change and revolution while playing bit parts in the very system they claim to oppose. Shrek is Ron Paul

heterosexuality only works on paper
Wtf does this mean?!
nobody has ever successfully implemented heterosexuality in practice. it only works on paper. this is common sense
why is everything everyone else does so loud
