The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Link Hack [x].
Submitted by hennethannun: If anyone's interested in an architectural discussion of the Legend of Zelda, this exists.

Eiji Aonuma: Would Consider Zelda as a Protagonist Depending on Demand.
In an interview with Nintendo Life...
NL: The Zelda series tells the story of a male hero rescuing a female princess. Would you ever consider giving Zelda her own game?
Aonuma: This is the second time I’ve received this question during this E3! I guess if people have strong feelings about it then it’s something to consider. I’ll keep that in mind!
The thing about Zelda is we want everything to be unique, whether it’s the graphical presentation or the gameplay. It has to be something you can’t see anywhere else. We wouldn’t want it to be ultra-realistic because you can see that elsewhere. But I can’t say that it’s going to be cartoony-realistic like you mentioned, the fantastic presentation that we’ve already done in the past. It will be something new.
Eiji Aonuma.
“We’re also working on a new Wii U Zelda game. Work on that is progressing fairly concretely. In fact, we were thinking about showing it here at E3 but decided to wait just a little bit longer before sharing it with everyone.”

Hey followers~! Here's just a small questionnaire created by the-lens-of-truth who tagged thezeldadungeon...
1. Do you watch anime? If so, what do you like?
I do! I love so many... my favourites include Fullmetal Alchemist and Wolf's Rain.
2. What first got you into Zelda?
When I was younger we had this Game Boy cartridge which encompassed a huge list of games, including Link's Awakening. Despite the fact that you couldn't actually save, I played it all the time and loved it so much (having to continuously start from the beginning). From then on I held a love for The Legend of Zelda.
3. Favourite song?
I can't really choose a favourite song... I love too many! Maybe all of The Legend of Zelda soundtracks ;3.
4. What's your favourite food?
Pancakes~!
5. If you had to be stuck in the room with 1 person for the rest of eternity, who would it be?
I'd say Link, but he probably wouldn't be good in conversation.
6. Favourite Zelda game?
Always a difficult question... My top ones are: Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker & Skyward Sword... I can never choose between them.
7. What’s your favourite blog?
I don't really have one! I follow so many different types.
8. Favourite ice cream flavour?
Cookie dough!
9. What Triforce piece do you favour?
Not being biased or anything, but definitely Courage.
10. Favorite Zelda character?
Excluding Link or Zelda, possibly Midna.
11. Least favourite Zelda game?
Hmmm... I'm not sure. As much as I love each one individually, I find Zelda II: The Adventure of Link really frustrating sometimes ;___;.. but they're all incredible games in their own right.
Thanks for the questions!
I know I'm meant to tag people and create my own questionnaire... but I thought I might just pose one single question here to all the blog's followers! So, what is your favourite thing about The Legend of Zelda universe?
Zelda/Link Appreciation (requested by anon)
Link and Zelda are a beautiful pairing, romantically or not. No matter whether they appear as strangers or friends, there’s always a spiritual tie that binds them and brings them together in some way. Destiny, you could say. And that bind has been there since the very beginning of the legend. However, I find that there is something disturbing and sad about these two. To us, their bond has only grown. Since the very beginning of our Zelda experience, their relationship has blossomed from being strangers in the original Legend of Zelda to childhood best friends in Skyward Sword. Truthfully, in the chronological order of the timelines, it’s the exact opposite. The friendship and love that the Link and Zelda of Skyward Sword shared has slowly diminished over time. Their bond used to be, in ancient times, strong and true. More recently, on the edges of the timelines we now know are canon, the two are nothing but strangers whose paths cross by fate alone. Their kinship has eroded over time and has become nothing but a distant memory of the past - a love that has faded into history. All that lives on are the ties that their ancestors passed onto them - purely a bond that need not be developed into a friendship, and never will be.

All New Zelda 3DS Title Arriving This Holiday Season.
Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.
Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.
This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.
Hope you like it!
Oh my goodness, your blog is beautiful. <3333
