I genuinely loved how they changed William’s character. In the original, William was really cold in my opinion and he didn’t show as much vulnerability. In season 3, we got to see Eleonora warming up to Edoardo; as well as Edoardo warming up to Ele. We see that he’s uncomfortable talking about certain topics, such as his family life. And we also get to see that he’s uncomfortable and scared, rather than cold, during the reunion scene. It’s not super cold to wow! lovey dovey-- it’s more like “oh shit, I messed up.” Also, he got into Cornell. And the man did not study for both of his orals and went to the beach instead. If that’s not rich king energy.
