One of the new couples in „Alles was zählt,“ Leyla and Elias. They started off so cute, in such a silly enemies-to-lovers fashion, (yup, there was no „friend“ stage) it took them about 2 months to get together, and now it’s just pure cringe.

Whoever decided that they should put the whole script writing in the hands of a bunch of interns, stand up and apologize. Now.

But I also love this scene. In fact she betrayed him, but now he is mature enough to accept and respect that decision.

I watched the first 3 seasons years ago and quite enjoyed the relationship between Alfred and Uhtred; this time around, I got to finish the whole show including the movie, I only found Alfred toxic. (Ha) I still love their reconciliation in 308 nonetheless.

Just as Millie said it in an interview, poor Lord Aldhelm is so forever friend-zoned. 😅 But as he first came into the show with Æthelred, the interaction between the two was so suspicious, I believed they had a thing going for a while. (This particular storyline was given to someone else later.)
