He initially saw you picking up trash that the peers you were on a walk with casually tossed onto the forest floor. Of course, he was thankful for you but in the grand scheme of things, he thought nothing of it. At best you were just doing the right thing. It’s not like you deserved praise for that.

What you didn’t know was that your peers were dared to take you into the forest and ditch you. When you did figure it out after waiting for an hour while they ‘when to go take a piss’ it was already too late. It was getting dark out and the forest you were in was notorious for being easy to get lost inside, your case was no exception to that. Giorno watched as you sat down on a fallen log and began to think about your next move. Gazing upon you from his spot in the trees, he couldn’t help but liken you to a baby deer that had been separated from its mother. He could even argue that in those situations it would be common for him to help lead the deer back, so why should he not help you? Of course it was common courtesy for you to respect his space, but you did seem like a polite guest so far and you were in a bind- he would be a bad host not to extend you a helping hand... Just this once of course.

Twisting a dead leaf between his fingers, he brought it to his lips and blew gently. Bits of leaf cascaded through the air and as they drifted, they began to animate one by one becoming little fireflies. You were startled to say the least when a bug landed directly on your face, but shock turned to awe as you saw a line of little bright dots down one of the paths through the trees. Sure, You might be going crazy, but at that point you didn’t think you had any other plans and decided it might be best just to trust the bugs. They sure seemed to know what they were doing.

Somehow this seemed like the right choice as you soon saw the glow of the city through an opening of the forest and as you took one last glance your eyes widened, seeing a golden figure emitting a soft glow watching you from the distance. Maybe you saw it? You couldn’t be sure, as it was gone before you could even register it. Dumbly, you cupped your hands to your mouth and shouted a loud “Thank you.”

Just in case.

After getting home safely that day, you began to make walks through the forest a regular occurrence for yourself and Giorno would often find himself drawn to you, watching your journey through his home. Sometimes you would go around picking up litter with a certain bravado to your step, other times you would explore or just laze around a clearing you seemed to like, some days you would even take the occasional nap. He had to admit, being alone all the time could be suffocating and he really was growing fond of your presence.

It was almost as if you belonged there. You were made to be in his forest. It wasn’t right for you to be corrupted by the pollution of the city. It really was best for you to be somewhere in his sights just like all the other creatures he ruled over. Somewhere he could protect you. It was for a good cause when he lured you deeper and deeper into the forest with those signature fireflies. He wrapped you up in trailing vines with the best intentions. It would only be until you realized this was for the best.

Bringing his fingers to touch your soft face? That was for no one but himself.

Okay so, no matter how much I think about it, my mind keeps going back to okuyasu for you. He’s just. So easy to charm and would be hooked on you asap after you bumped into him in a rush to get yourself home, hurriedly handing him a few bills to pay for his ice cream you had accidentally spilled.

This boy has exactly zero tact when it comes to approaching people in general let alone a possible love interest, but it is charming in a way. His loud obnoxious tendencies can get to you sometimes but he’s got a massive heart and his bluntness ensures that nothing gets miscommunicated. He may be a bit naive and clingy but the two of you hit it off nonetheless. After you’ve gotten to know each other better, Okuyasu loves that despite your stature and non-combative nature, you always want to do the right thing and trust your gut. The two of you are similar in that way after all.

After hanging around okyasu and his two friends, you probably get along best with koichi, often talking about theories and such on the latest instalments of your favourite series when you all meet up. Your fondness for the shorty has the Nijimura boy torn... on one hand he feels like he has to be to cool older friend to koichi, but on the other... he was the one who found you, so in the grand scheme of things he should be your priority in the group.

This is where okuyasu’s lovable childish antics show their ugly opposite side of the coin. He doesn’t like sharing and is more than okay with using force if his things are threatened...

Scenario - you go skating for a first date at a rink you frequent and it turns out that he’s a bit of a douche. A certain mouthy employee who has made a habit of observing you doesn’t like that.

When you overheard your tinder date throwing cheesy lines at someone else as you approached your meetup spot, you already had a pretty good idea of whether you’d be asking for a second date or not. Picking out the ideal partner wasn’t your forte, sure, but you couldn’t let that stop you in your pursuit of love- and it certainly wouldn’t stop you from enjoying the rink after you had already paid for your admission.

Actually getting on the ice seemed to be a far away goal though as he threw his arm around you and directed you to the food stand, chatting obnoxiously.

“Ah shit,” your date cursed, patting his jeans and jacket pockets. Oh boy. “I only brought enough to get in, and I’m starving could you-“

“What do you want?” You rolled your eyes walking up to the vendor. He smiled and playfully got you in a headlock. “I knew blowing off my plug for this date was a good idea. I met someone as kind as you, kid.”

Plug for what Exactly? You weren’t particularly interested in finding out.

Practically inhaling his food, he washed it down with a sip of your drink before scrunching his nose up and wiping his mouth. “What the hell was that?”

You raised an eyebrow. “Dude, it’s just coffee...”

“You drink that shit?” He remarked before pushing his shoulder into you and giving you a coy look, accompanied by a wink. “Don’t worry babe, hopefully my good taste will rub off on you.”

You deadpanned and let out a loud sigh as he laughed at his own statement, making him stop and guide your chin to look at his odd version of a puppy dog face. Nice, his fingers had sauce on them. “C’mon, baby, I was just joking around.”

He leaned in the rest of the way for a kiss and with dinner plate eyes you pushed him away. “What’s your problem?” You whispered sternly, not wanting to draw attention. “I don’t have a problem, I’m just trying to lighten the mood. You’re not making it easy.” His tone was mocking and louder than necessary, making you duck your head and blush.

“Look, I don’t think-“

“What the fuck?” Your date interrupted before chuckling maliciously and nudging you in the ribs, pointing to a man you presumed to be a maintenance worker hunched over a janitor cart, scowling at the two of you and mumbling. “Hey four eyes! Do I got something on my face?”

The man’s face turned a shade of red that could rival his bright cherry glasses and with widened eyes, he turned around began to walk away.

“Hey! I wasn’t done!”

Your face definitely mirrored the poor employees when your date hurled your half full coffee cup at him, making you bolt up from your seat and rush over to him. Supporting the trembling man now cradling his head and clearly failing breathing exercises, you turned to the culprit with distress cutting through your words. “Why are you being like this?”

“You’re on that losers side? He was the one who was-“

Ignoring him, you turned to them man, squatting to look up at his face. Worried that he was crying, as he didn’t look particularly strong willed, you were very surprised to see him quite literally shaking with rage. “Sir are you okay, did you get hurt.”

Snapping his wild eyes on you, he began to slow his breaths as he straightened himself up, attempting to gain composure. Standing up yourself, you noticed you were the same height as him, if not taller.

“I’m fine.” He breathed out curtly as the colour of his face began to look more like an actual human skin tone. Your thoughts were cut short as a rough hand clasped onto your shoulder, grabbing your attention. “I don’t know why you suggested this place, it sucks. Lets get out of here.”

“Wait.” A quiet, cold voice cut in making your date stop before rolling his eyes and opening his dumb mouth. “Don’t you know when to stop? I thought glasses meant you were smart.”

A vein popped in the employees neck as he silently pointed to the lanyard around his neck that read ‘MAINTENANCE AND SECURITY’ in bold letters before pulling the radio on his belt to his mouth, mumbling something and looking back up. “You’re coming with me for disrupting the public until police get here.”

“Whatever, it’s not like this was even a big deal. Kind of an overkill reaction, but clearly you don’t have enough power in your life and need to compensate.” Your date scoffed, complying with the employee.

Maybe he did have one brain cell after all.

The man shifted his tense gaze to you making you freeze up, already thinking about how far away the commute to the next closest rink was. You should have known better than to bring a stranger here, god forbid you actually have a good date or once in your life.

“You.”

His strained tone made you wince.

“Next time you come here... tell them Ghiaccio said you’re allowed a session for free and to radio me if that’s an issue... you clearly didn’t get to use this skate time.” Despite it’s harsh sounding delivery, the offer he extended to you made you blush, perhaps that was just his default tone.

“Thank you, you’re too kind.” You smiled at him genuinely before flipping like a coin and shooting a glare to your date. “I’m going home. Lose my number, asshole.”

Making your exit, you thought about the employee- Ghiaccio. ‘Even his name fit him’ you laughed to yourself. Although a little quick-tempered and bad with kind words, he really seemed decent. Maybe your luck in love was changing for the better.

“Weren’t you bringing me to security?” The leech asked, looking around at the locker rooms and various storage closets littering the hallway.

“Shortcut.” Ghiaccio bit out, pushing him through a door. “In here.”

“Through the second rink? Is this where the team plays?-” His insufferable voice silenced with a grunt as the employee smashed a shovel used to maintain the ice into the back of his skull and got to work.

When he came to, the first thing he noticed was how cold the ice felt- next, how very naked his body was. Attempting to get up, he realized ice picks were keeping him from moving his hands in the way that they pierced straight through the middle of them, a massive pool of blood now staining the ice below. Finally, he noticed the man in the standard blue janitorial coveralls looming above him with heavy work gloves on and the all too familiar red glasses dawning his face.

“W-what do you want from me, man?” He sobbed out, the numbing of ice and adrenaline fading away with every second.

This seemed to set Ghiaccio’s fuse. “You say the dumbest shit! Why the fuck would I want anything from you? do you think I’m the beggar in this situation? do I look like I need something? On top of that, it’s been bugging me the whole time I was setting up, Your insults don’t even make sense.” He yelled out, his words bouncing off the rink glass.

“Setting u-up?...” the worm whimpered pathetically as he was forced to listen to the madman’s critique of him.

“-at world does ‘four eyes’ even make sense? I clearly have two eyes! Two eyes! Two! Are you so dumb you can’t even count?” He ranted, kicking the mans head to the side, his face lulling back and forth with the movements pitifully.

“I’m gonna shut that idiotic mouth for good.” The employee spoke, squatting down with a vicious smile as his gloved fingers snatched his victims tongue and pulled it out, chin involuntarily clashing into the sub-zero surface.

The parasite shook his head as he garbled out cries for help, hot, fat tears effectively marrying his skin to the ice.

His scream ripped into the cool air as the sharp pick was forced through his wet muscle, Ghiaccio dusting himself off as he moved to tighten the coarse rope around his bare ankles.

“At least they’ve smartened up and started bringing the obstacles to me. I’m so fucking tired of having to track you scumbags down in my free time.” His voice rose as he climbed onto the zamboni, starting it up. “I’m so fucking sick of guys like you getting to spend time with them! It doesn’t make sense! No fucking sense! It should be me! Fuck!”

After smashing his fists into the wheel of the ice resurfacer, he remembered the breathing exercises he read about when he decided to reign in his anger as not to scare you away when he got too heated. Heaving in and out, he found his center and sat up straight, slowly accelerating the machine forward with its precious cargo in tow.

Getting home, you could hear the sound of bickering of your roommates in the kitchen and not wanting to deal with it, you snuck into your bedroom for a nap- knowing you barely had enough time for a quick one before the blind date your friend was forcing you to go on later that evening.

Getting out of your work clothes and slipping into some soft shorts accompanied by your old high school t shirt, there was a knock at your door.

“Yeah?” You called, wondering what one of the boys needed to borrow this time.

“I just noticed you hadn’t said hello when you got in and wanted to check on you. Are you alright?” Santana’s concerned voice inquired from the other side of your door.

You opened the door, missing how Santana’s eyes drifted to your bare legs. “Just kinda fed up from work and didn’t want to deal with the noise at home on top of that.”

“Rough day?” He asked, leaning his toned body on your doorframe. You nodded and opened your arms pathetically, and as if he could read you mind, Santana happy wrapped his large arms around you, causing you to let out a long sigh as you nuzzled your face into his expansive chest.

You really liked everyone in the house but you undeniably shared the closest bond of all your roommates with Santana. Although he could be a bit overprotective at times, he was by far the most considerate of the four and had been the one who warmed up to you the fastest when you moved in. He said it was because he was no longer the baby of the group and that he could now stop being teased- despite that not coming true when it came down to it, but you knew your personalities just gelled well together as you greatly appreciated his observant, at times stoic and aloof low maintenance nature. You loved the way that when you spoke to him, he would listen intently, as if learning some new and revolutionary information each time.

“Can I braid your hair again?” You meekly asked into his pecs, the prospect of playing with someone’s hair already relaxing your tensions from the day. A chuckle resonated through the two of you. “Of course.”

Getting on your bed and splaying your legs open in a ‘V’ you patted the space between them and looked at him expectantly, combing your hands through his long, dark red hair in preparation for the braid once he was situated between them, head in your lap.

The momentary peaceful energy in the room was disrupted by the two overgrown children bursting in. “Y/N! Esi refuses to admit he cheated in mortal kombat and is acting like a toddler because I called him out for it!” Wamuu announced loudly, as if you could do something about it.

“Am not! Don’t blame me for your lack of skills and call it cheating!” Esidisi defended himself quickly, before widening his eyes at you and Santana’s intimate positions. “…what’s going on here?”

Wam snapped his eyes up to you and his mouth fell open.

You removed your hands from Santana’s hair and sighed, irritated. “I’m just braiding his hair, You knucklehead-besides what did I say about knocking first?”

“Looks fun, can I join?” Esi asked ignoring you, already striding over to your bed and taking a seat on your side. Looking smugly over at wam he grinned. “I’m not in the mood to win against you again, you can go play a game on your own.”

Wamuu looked at him angrily with a huff and an eye roll as he moved his gaze back to you. “Y/N, would you mind if I sat with you guys?”

Letting out another long breath, you were just thankful you decided to get a larger bed when you moved. “I mean, If you really want to, wamuu.”

Plopping himself down with a creek, he fell back onto your pillows, kicking his feet up and grabbing the remote on your bedside table before turning on the tv across from your bed, flipping through Netflix titles.

You resumed playing with Santana’s hair as Esi got comfortable laying down as well. “Why is your bed so much softer than mine?- oh shit wam I love that movie.”

Wamuu scoffed “It’s hardly a well written movie, the dialogue is laughable and the fighting scenes at repetitive, not to mention horribly choreographed.”

“Okay, tough guy.” You snorted out in a laugh as you let go of Santana’s hair, Esidisi grinning triumphantly from beside you at his rival knowing you were defending him.

Wam carelessly tossed the remote at Esi with a quick “whatever, you pick if it matters so much.” Before wrapping his arms around you, pulling you down beside him, effectively locking you in a soft version of a chokehold. “Don’t think I don’t know exactly where you’re ticklish spots are! You’re 1000 years to early to believe yourself a worthy opponent of the great Wamuu!” He announced in a dramatic tone. “Luckily for you though, my generous self has taking a liking to you, and I do not wish to completely obliterate you- instead, I offer you my protection from the hideous old beast Esidisi, along with anyone else who tries to pursue you!”

The white haired male shot wam a look, “don’t lump me in with the animals chasing after Y/N. I may not have youth, but I certainly make up for it in class.”

“Esi, you’re only a few years older than Wamuu, stop acting like you’re having a mid life crisis.” You chided, quirking up an eyebrow, hoping your stern face would stop the bickering.

“I’ll stop using my superior intellect to outsmart him when he learns the basic lessons you learn in kindergarten...” an impish gleam erupted on his face “like how to share your things.” Yanking you from Wam’s arms, he circled his own around your waist.

Tired and admitting defeat, you just allowed it as you began to watch the movie Esi had chosen, letting out a yawn before you felt Wamuu rest his head on your shoulder and Santana readjust so he could see the screen, head still lazing in your lap contently as your eyes drifted closed.

Groggy, you became vaguely aware of the front door slamming shut, knowing the ‘head of the household’ was home. Falling in and out of consciousness, you startled as the sound of someone clearing their throat impatiently snapped you right out of your sleepy mood, Kars standing at the foot of your bed.

“What the hell is this?” Kars demanded, gesturing to the mess of limbs on the bed.

Before you could answer, the phone you lazily tossed on your dresser dinged, causing Kars’ attention to divert from you. He grimaced. “Who’s Adam And why is he asking if you’re still on for tonight, Y/N?”

“Shit.” You spoke, attempting to sit up from beneath the now groaning tired mass of muscles tangled around you. “Kars can you pass me my phone? I have to let him know I’ll be late.”

His striking gaze turned cold. “You didn’t answer my question.”

Your roommates- now fully awake, observed the situation with watchful eyes, all interested as well in why you would be texting a man when they had clearly been trying to woo you for months now.

“Why does it matter to you.” You argued.

“Shall I take away your phone privileges?” He threatened.

“What the fuck? You’re not my-“

“Up.” Kars instructed, gesturing for you to stand. Fearfully, You obeyed as you knew how Kars got when you didn’t show him respect. Being the one to earn the largest sum in the household at his glitzy CEO office job and often covering most extra expenses without complaint seemingly making him overbearing and authoritative towards the other cohabitators.

To your surprise he settled himself where you had sat in between Wamuu and Esidisi, Santana Sitting at his feet as he still held your phone.

You knitted your eyebrows together in confusion at the sight of him in his luxurious dress clothes, surrounded by the other three in their casual tees and sweats, all peering at you. “Wha-?”

Kars motioned for you to sit down on the bed… right on his lap. With a blush, you shook your head making Kars give you ‘the look’.

“You seemed cozy enough when I came in here, am I not up to your standards? I sure hope this ‘Adam’ is a millionaire in that case.” You’re face turned multiple shades redder. “Perhaps we should give him a call and let him know you won’t be meeting with him tonight.” He teased, wagging your phone in the air.

You laughed, irritated but used to putting up with Kars’ bullshit. “Nice try, you don’t even know the password.”

Looking at you with a smirk and facing your phone screen towards you, he simply pressed his thumb to your home button, the phone unlocking first attempt with no issue.

Widening your eyes at the invasion of privacy, you lunged at him to retrieve your cellular device, Santana latching onto you as you did so to prevent you from clawing out Kars’ eyes.

“So you are useful for something Santana.” Kars remarked to the redhead, making him grumble and tuck your head under his chin to calm himself down.

Kars put his hands under your arms and lifted you from Santana’s grasp and onto his lap, the Younger man immediately latching to your waist and legs.

Hearing the dial tone through your phone behind you, you struggled to prevent what he was about to say to Adam. Your friend was going to have your head for this.

Kars held the phone away from his face. “Esidisi, Wamuu. Would you mind assisting me?” He inquired. Nodding, they trapped both your arms.

“You guys too?” You cried out.

Sheepishly, they shrugged as Esi spoke up. “Well..” he trailed off. “You know what they say, the enemies of my enemy are my my allies.” His words made you deflate, knowing you had no chance against 4 hulking men.

“Ah, yes hello.” Kars greeted when the call was answered. “I’m calling on behalf of Y/N… they’re a little tied up right now and won’t be able to make it tonight.” There was an angry voice on the other end, making you wince. “Calm down your pathetic babbling. Its not as if I’d let them go regardless, this is just how things are, I’d be more than happy to settle this with you face to face though, if you still insist on acting like a petulant child.”

More angry words were thrown at him before the beeps of a hung up call met your ears. Kars tossed your phone onto your night stand sighing as he wrapped his arms around you from behind, taking on a patronizing tone. “Some people have such a temper… it’s wildly unbecoming, but no need to fret over being set up with such a barbaric Neanderthal… you’re meant to be here with us anyways. You were already ours the moment you stepped through the front door.”
