both  girls  were  younger  the  last  time  they  saw  each  other,    unsure  that  this  would  have  happened.   there’s  a  pang  of  guilt  that  hits  cassandra,   realizing  that  she  hadn’t  even  checked.    that  she  honestly  didn’t  care  to  check.    is  that  all  friends  meant  to  her  ?    is  that  why  she’s  survived  so  long  ?    the  two  weren’t  the  closest,   often  butting  heads  due  to  how  similar  their  temperaments  were.   she  doubts  this  would  be  any  different.   she’s  not  here  to  form  alliances…   but  company  wouldn’t  be  too  bed.    she  passes  over  her  coffee,   something  she  takes  as  sacred.    “    that’s  not  funny.   but…   yeah  i  agree.   ”

being   dead   would   be   easier   than   this.   they   wouldn’t   feel   guilty.   well   she   can’t   speak  for  her,  but  for  noi  there  is  guilt.   there   is   sadness,  and   anger.   a  mother  dead  in   front  of   her.   a   lover   gone.    a   best   friend   mangled   in   front  of   her.   it’s   all   gone.    but  she   survives,  for   some   reason,   she   always   survives.      maybe  it  is   funny  to   her,   that   she   of   all  people   somehow   manages   to   keep   surviving.     how  does   cass  do  it  too?   it’s   a   wonder  to   her.   “  being  dead  would  make  this  easier.  for  all  of  us.  ”

BEAN  GOES   BACK  TO  COLLEGE  !

   hi   everyone   !    it  is  that  time  of  the  year  ,   where   i  will  be  returning  to  my  university  ,  with  classes   officially  starting  on   septemeber  1st  for me.   i   am  living  off  campus  with  some  friends,   but   with  covid  regulations  i  doubt  that  i  will  have  much  to  entertain  myself  with.   i  am  taking   a  heavy  course  load  so  i  hope  you  can  extend  me  some  patience  in  doing  replies  .   i  wanted  to  extend  that  i  will  be  most  reachable  through  discord   during  this  time,  and  i  implore  any  and  all  mutuals   to   reach  out  to  me  so  we  can   talk  there.   i  am  not  abandoning  sokka,  noi,  or  will.   i   very   much   love  these  muses,   and  below  is  my  ‘  plan  ‘  for  how  i’m   going  to  manage  my  time.  

1.   blogs   will    run   solely   on  queue.

2.   i  will   not  be  on  the  tumblr  app.   only  on  desktop  for  mental  health.

3.   when  my  course  load  /  midterms  hit,  my   activity  will  completely   drop.   please  don’t  take  that  personally  ! 

4.   just  be  patient  with  me  !   i  love  writing  and  it  is  still  my  hobby,   but  i  need  to  focus  on  my  classes  too  !

sorry but…when you say you care about people of color, do you actively include them in discussions about race? do you actively put aside your own privilege and let our voices be heard over yours? do you actively invite people of color to your events, do you stand with them AT ALL TIMES not just in moments of solidarity and to use your privilege, do you question how you profit off of the labor of people of color do you support people of color writers and listen to them when they tell you they are uncomfortable do you understand that we should not have to go through the emotional labour of explaining racism to you when you say you care about people of color, do you mean you care about your four token rpc / fandom blogs of color you can reblog or say your mutuals with as a standard point or do you actually care about how our experience on this site is so riddled with racism and w’re allowed to bee angry and want our safe spaces from you?
