Hello.

I know I have spent the last several offline in light of recent events, but I am ready to take the proper time to acknowledge what has transpired.

To be more exact, I would like to publicly apologize for leaking the private information of Kai Monetago. It was incredibly dangerous, not just for him, but for our fellow classmates as well. I knew what the consequences of doing so what be, but I allowed my anger to override that. I abused my station as an Ultimate to not just attain the information but avoid the potential punishment of spreading it as well. That not only is irresponsible, but highly unbecoming of my station as Ultimates should use their resources to help greater society, not abuse their power.

I do not expect forgiveness or trust to come back easily. I understand that I have betrayed not just the trust of Kai, but also to my other classmates. I currently do not intend to revoke my title as, it being so close to the school year ending, it would make little logical sense and be nothing more than performative. However, I will take this summer to reflect on the position of my role, how that power affects my relationships, and whether keeping that power would be a beneficial decision for myself and others. Such a thing would be impossible to decide now without further deliberation, but it would be unfair of me to not share as much.

I also understand that there is no way to truly undo what I have done. Once you release someone’s private information online, there’s virtually no way for you to undo it. I am taking steps to mend what I can, but many of those are private matters which I do not intend to share unless the other party is willing to. If anyone else has anything they wish to talk to me about or wishes for me to do to make amends, I will listen. There is only so much I can do realistically, I am only human after all, but it is within my interest to do as much as I can in the aftermath.

Once again, my greatest apologies for Kai Monteago for exposing your private messages and personal information. I apologize to Alibaba as well for lying and abusing your trust, along with Jakub Dobes for taking advantage of the connections you had given me and putting you in great danger. Finally, I am sorry to the classmates who had trusted me before and had been betrayed by my actions. I do not expect anyone’s forgiveness or patience but I do not intend for the matter to go unacknowledged. Thank you for your time.

... Right, I am quite out of the loop, but this situation has gotten so incredibly out of hand and I know that everyone else is speaking on it, so this might not mean much, but I do feel the need to say something too.

It is never okay to reveal someone's personal information online like that. That is so incredibly irresponsible and dangerous. You never know what people's intentions could be. God forbid someone with ill will towards the person you have doxxed comes across their address. I am aware that you might be terribly hurt, but this such a drastic response. I was willing to be sympathetic until it came to this, as I'm sure others also feel. It is especially dangerous when you consider that as Ultimates, we tend to have some sort of following - and the person in question is the Ultimate Influencer, no less! He has a massive audience, who knows what type of people that includes? I am shocked, I really am. Particularly as it has come from someone who works in the law. You should have so much more sense and care than this.
