Here's a list of important notes for tumblr usage:

Don't censor words, particularly trigger warnings. Tumblr has a very functional blacklist (found in your settings) that can filter by post content and/or tags. But the word needs to actually be present for the filter to work. Censoring words like r*pe is actively harmful to people attempting to avoid those topics.

Use tags liberally, you have as many as you want, but don't tag unrelated shit. You'll get reported for spam really fast if you do.

Set an avatar and reblog things, otherwise you look like a bot.

You are not obligated to have your real name anywhere in your blog/bio/etc. Most people here use handles.

You can turn your ask box & anons on or off if you are experiencing any kind of harassment. You can also turn off replies on your posts, and turn off reblogs if you need to.

Tumblr has keyboard shortcuts on desktop. You can find them listed under the blog/account menu. Go learn them, they make life so much easier.

Reblog things. Seriously. Also set your dash in chronological order. You can maintain several blogs if need be, but reblogging things is normal, expected, and how you pass along stuff you enjoy.

The majority of people aren't reading your card/dni/blog bio before they reblog stuff. Posts get passed around and the OP often isn't the focal point of the post. Learn to live with it.

Fic writers: you have unlimited words, do not post fics as images.

It's not weird to go through someone's blog and reblog old posts. That's actually very normal. If you add /chrono to the end of a tumblr tab then you can view an

"Spam" liking and reblogging isn't a thing that is a problem. This is invented by people I do not understand. If someone claims this is a problem, they can learn how to turn off or manage their notifications.

The only form of promotional posts that tumblr has is "blaze". There is no ad targeting or any kind of invasions of privacy with blaze. You just get subjected to w/e someone wants to show you. If you want to give tumblr some money to help the company keep going and provided an alternative to twitter, it's not a bad way to do it. You can make people look at cat photos.

Also, we have fun colors here. Plus actual formatting ability. Use it!

People lie on here for fun. Don't accept everything you see at face value, check the reblogs/replies or google something if you're skeptical! Critical thinking is good!

Addition for the fic writers: please please please add the read more option on your post. On desktop it's the orange squiggly lines that come up when you click on the textbox.

On mobile I believe it's :: readmore :: (without spaces).

The read more option shortens your post, putting whatever you have under the read more hidden until someone clicks on it. This is super helpful for mobile users if you have a long post so they don't have to scroll forever past your thing.

Murder husbands Marco and Sabo, they are so in love with each other but with their intense and dominant personalities they always have some friction with each other, that's why they always have a third person to sooth it. (Also important note, usually the victims are horrible people, who aren't punished by the justice system)

However noone lasts in that position, sometimes they seduce someone slowly, but when the person finds out what kind of monsters they are, they try to escape, which leads to captivation, but that hets boring for Marco and Sabo pretty soon, so they get rid of the person. When they want to have some short term, quick fun they just straight out kidnap someone, then get rid of them. A person lasts from one month to four at most.

But Marco and Sabo want to find the one. The one who fits them perfectly and they are not afraid to look for them.

One night they see Ace at a park where he's walking Kotatsu (still a lynx, Ace has everything he legally needs to keep him), the sight makes both Marco and Sabo interested.

The next day they make sure to find out everything they can about the man who was walking a lynx at the park. The methods include (but not limited to) asking around, bribing, threatening, stalking. When they are satisfied with the results, they start part 2 of the mission, approaching Ace.

After Ace finishes his work and goes home, Sabo "accidentally" bumps into Ace (who's busy with typing on his phone), spilling his coffee onto his own jacket, making Ace embarrassed and apologetic. Sabo ask him compensation in form of accompanying him to dinner, there is a little hesitation but Ace eventually agrees. They go to a somewhat fancy restaurant, and Sabo insists that Ace stay for dinner, it's his treat, and Ace finds Sabo hot, so why not. They are led to a private room where Marco is waiting, and when he sees his partner accompanied by their future lover, he can't help but smile.

Ace is confused, he thought the man he bumped into wanted to seduce him for a night and now he's having dinner with Sabo and his husband Marco, without any sign it'll lead to more than a friendly dinner. He's slightly disappointed but they are so nice and kind, he quickly forgets about it.

The dinner ends with a good atmosphere, and Marco and Sabo takes Ace home, somehow tricking him into agreeing to meet them again.

The pair makes sure Ace is cherished, taking him to dates, giving him small gifts, listening to him, helping him in everything they can, and Ace never had anyone care for him like that (he has Luffy, but Luffy is the younger so it is Ace who takes care of him) and it feels so nice, he can't help but fall in love with them.

It takes six months to get Ace officially join their relationship, but both Marco and Sabo are satisfied, because Ace is everything they ever wanted from their third; kind, beautiful, compassionate, strong and fierce and full of fire. The only issue is their not so acceptable hobby of murder.

They hide it as long as they can, being more careful than ever before, not wanting to scare Ace, because they'd have to get rid of him if he's reacting badly.

In the end Ace finds them torturing some random dirtbag who harassed young girls, and while it takes some time, he accepts them fully and sometimes even watches them serving justice in their own way.

Can't decide which is better.

Ace with his yandere husband Sabo, who threatens anyone who looks at Ace. Marco being their new neighbor, who also happen to fall in love with Ace during their first meeting. Ace likes Marco well enough, but doesn't really interact with him because he isn't going to cheat on Sabo, plus he knows how Sabo gets violent with others if Ace gives them a little more attention than usually would (he sometimes does it for fun).

When Marco meets Sabo for the first time, he is heartbroken, because Ace has a husband, but then gets excited, because Sabo is pretty, intelligent and there is something interesting in him. So Marco makes it his goal to get together with both of them. Sabo of course couldn't care less about Marco.

Then when one late night Ace and Sabo walk home, a few drunkards are catcalling Ace which makes Sabo angry and he wants to shut them up (preferably forever) but Ace is tired and whiny and doesn't have the patience to wait until Sabo's done with them, so they go home. Sabo puts Ace into bed, caressing his hair until he falls asleep, then Sabo goes back to where the incident happened. Only to find Marco with bloody hands and beaten people at his feet and now he's interested in Marco. And Marco just looks at Sabo with eyes filled with dark satisfaction and says:

"Couldn't let them get away with insulting Ace like that, you understand right?"

And Sabo falls in love just a little there.

And eventually Marco breaks the ice with Sabo, making him more accepting to the idea of Marco courting the two of them, which only leaves convincing Ace, who is confused because how could Marco make Sabo agree to the idea, but he's not against it. So Marco starts slowly but surely wooing them, which finally leads to a proper, official relationship between Marco, Ace and Sabo.

Then Ace realizes that Marco is just like Sabo.

(Except Sabo is possessive/obsessive over Ace, where Marco is like that with both of them)

Okay, hear me out...

Demon prince Ace, vampire Sabo and phoenix Marco

Sabo used to be a human, he ran away from home as a child (5-6 years old) and wandered into demon territory where he meets Ace, who snuck out of the palace (Roger and Rouge are both alive and ruling together over their territory), and then Ace took Sabo home and they became inseparable.

They are childhood sweethearts and when Sabo became 20 years old Rayleigh (who's like Sabo's dad by now) turned him into a vampire. After that they stayed at the palace for like a hundred years, mostly for Sabo because it's really hard to getting used to being a vampire, and becoming strong and independent. Both Sabo and Ace trained hard and eventually they left to see the world with their parents approval.

So for the next few decade they traveled, experienced life and did whatever they wanted. After that they settled down in Roger's territory, living in a mansion, often visiting their parents and everything was great.

Then one faithful night they met Marco. At first their relationship was purely physical but with time it evolved into more, leading Marco officially joining the relationship.

They've been together for a long time when they decide it's time to get married. It's a big deal, because all three of them are very well known and important figures. But with all of them being immortal they were in no rush, and planning a wedding like this is a nightmare so they've enjoyed the engagement for a few years when everything changed.

One day suddenly Ace went missing without a trace and no matter how much everyone tried to find him, no one could.

Marco and Sabo spent 50 years constantly searching for Ace without a single clue. Though they eventually (mostly) returned to their normal life they never gave up, they gathered every information that could have the slightest chance of leading to Ace.

Soulmate au part 4

It's been two days since the incident, Sabo's still out, Marco is a mess not really leaving Sabo's side, and Ace finally out of his room but he walks around like he's somewhere else in his head.

And then finally Sabo wakes up at the evening. He suddenly sits up and looks around frantically, while Marco's holding his shoulders trying to get him to lay back. But Sabo doesn't let himself and asks with shaky voice "Where is he?"

And everyone thinks he's afraid Ace's going to hurt him and the nurses try to calm him how Ace won't/can't hurt him here. And Sabo doesn't say anything but when Marco finally releases him, he jumps out of the bed and starts to run, Marco and a few medic chasing after him a little behind.

Sabo runs to the deck, eyes immediately finding Ace, who's sitting on the railing facing the ocean, and everyone thinks he will attack Ace, but instead Sabo only wraps his arms around Ace, hiding his face into Ace's back, while continuously apologizing.

So everyone around them is confused because shouldn't Ace be the one sorry, why is Marco's other soulmate hugging Ace and Ace just lets him do it?

Then Sabo steps back, letting Ace turn around and god, Ace looks so hurt Sabo's heart aches knowing that he's the reason. He takes Ace's face in his hands, thumbs caressing the cheeks as he looks into Ace's eyes while apologizing again. And Ace is crying, tears silently falling while he buries his face into Sabo's shoulder, hugging him like his life depends on it while Sabo just gently holds his shanking body.

Meanwhile Marco (along with a whole lot of other people) just watches them muttering to each other and he's utterly confused. Don't get Marco wrong, he's really happy Ace doesn't seem to hate his other soulmate but he doesn't understand a single thing that just happened. So when they finally pull away from each other (though still touching, never letting the other go for more than a second) Marco finally has the chance to speak.

"So either of you care to give an explanation, yoi?"

Ace and Sabo replies at the same time, however their answer isn't matching.

Sabo only give a short "no", while Ace says "sure" with a watery smile. Then they look at each other and start talking.

"Why would we explain anything to him? It's none of his business"

"He's our soulmate! What do you mean it's none of his business?"

"I mean it's none of his business. I don't know him and I didn't chose him as my soulmate, so why should I tell him anything?"

"Well that's too bad, because I like Marco and he deserves to know."

They would probably argue about it more but Ace is already swaying on his feet from exhaustion and Sabo has to make sure that Ace's alright so he looks at Marco, and tells him they would talk about it tomorrow, then Sabo takes Ace to his room.

Marco is still confused and hurt, but he's also a patient man and he can wait one night for the answers he's looking for. Thatch doesn't help though with his comment,

"Did your second soulmate just stole your first soulmate?"

Soulmate au part 3

So Marco and Ace are together for around a year when it happens. They stop at a larger island to restock which can be pretty long with a crew this big, so they are planning for staying for a few days.

It's on the third day when Ace is away with Thatch looking for some special spices that Marco meets Sabo. He's at a bar by the docks, asking the bartender about local sightseeing spots, where is the best food in town, and things like that for his date with Ace tomorrow. Then form outside he hears fighting, he goes to check if it's some of his crewmates that may need help, only to see some random local thugs getting beaten by some wannabe-noble with a pipe. And when their eyes met everything become colorful and both of them freeze.

Sabo is the first to come to senses, he doesn't need or want a soulmate as it's only an obstacle on his revolutionary path, soulmates are weaknesses one way or other, which is the reason why he never looked for the jolly roger which is on his chest. So meeting with either one of his soulmate isn't in his plans, but when he tries to leave, Marco grabs his arm and doesn't let him.

"Why are you trying to leave?"

"I don't want a soulmate"

"At least give me a chance!" And Marco has some weird sense of deja vu, because Ace was like this too, why are his soulmates so unwilling to get to know him? Most people are thrilled when they meet their soulmates.

They argue about it for a little and that's when Ace arrives looking for Marco. And he looks at the situation and be like "...what?"

Marco tries to explain himself while Sabo can only stare at Ace, and Ace stares back so confused. The crowd is dead silent, everyone is watching how this will go down.

And then Ace punches Sabo, and Sabo let it happen, because he thinks he deserves it, but why and then he starts to rembember, which makes him faint and everyone thinks Ace hit him too hard. Marco looks at Ace and see how hurt he looks, and even though he's angry about the punch he can't hurt Ace more so he only says "It's going to be okay. We'll make this work" and takes the unconcious Sabo to the Moby's infirmary.

After the incident Ace locks himself up in his room, and won't open the door for anyone, not even for Marco. Meanwhile Sabo is in the infirmary sleeping, Marco staying by his side after he couldn't talk to Ace.

Sabo and Ace has each other's jolly rogers, Ace's is obviously on his arm, while Sabo has his on his chest, just a little under his heart

Ace and Marco has the other's first name written on their body, Ace has Marco's name on his right hip, while Marco has Ace's on his left wrist

Marco and Sabo were both colorblind until they met each other

Then Sabo "died" and Ace was depressed

But after meeting with Marco he's happy again, and everything is great until Marco tells Ace that he's colorblind because he has a second soulmate, and there is always a chance he meets them, and Ace should know about it beforehand, and maybe just maybe he's Ace's too?

And Ace is freaking out, because he can't tell Marco about Sabo, and he's panicking, how could he tell Marco their other soulmate is dead, it would hurt him just like it hurt Ace and he can't do that to Marco, so he lashes out, snapping at Marco about how he doesn't have an other soulmate and Marco shouldn't keep his hopes up

Their fight lasts for a while but they make up eventually, but they never really talk about the other soulmate topic again

At least not until Marco meets Sabo for the first time...
