General Note:

So, I don't know if it's just me, but I've been thinking that we might want to have a bit of a get-together sometime soon and pow-wow about plots and things that we've all set up.

Just because I know that I think I understand what's going on, but I'm still a bit confused.

This is turning into a very complicated roleplay with very complicated relationships and backgrounds that inform present actions, and I just want to make sure that I'm not stepping on anyone else's toes, and that I can properly plot around everyone else's things as well.

Does that sound okay to everyone else?

I know we're all busy people, so that might be a problem for all of us to sit down together and chat, but if we can't accomplish that, I might try and find a place for all of us to post those sorts of things.

Colonel Rosa Klebb | FC: Charlize Theron | Open

SMERSH → Supervisor of Operations and Executions

Colonel Klebb is a high ranking member of the feared Russian counter-intelligence agency SMERSH, where she serves as the supervisor of Department II (operations and executions). She has a reputation for overseeing the interrogations of enemy agents in which, after exacting various methods of torture on the target, she speaks to them in a warm and motherly tone in an unusual and apparently effective method of extracting necessary information. Klebb is assigned to spearhead an operation to get revenge on Bijou Fairbanks for her involvement in the deaths of two SMERSH operatives.

Francisco Scaramanga | FC: Andrew Scott | Reserved by Tina Rae

Independent → Professional Assassin

Francisco Scaramanga was a British national born in a travelling circus. His father was the ringmaster, a former Cuban national and his mother was the snake charmer. By age 10, he was part of the circus as a trick-shot pistol marksman. At age 15, he became an international assassin-for-hire. He was recruited some years later by the KGB while living in Ipanema, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and trained in Eastern Europe where for many years he was basically just another "overworked and underpaid assassin" for the KGB. He quit the KGB twenty years later, becoming an independent hitman-for hire. Francisco is a high-priced assassin, supposedly the best in the world, charging one million dollars per kill. He's best known for being "The man with the golden gun", because he only uses bullets made of gold in a fictitious, 4.2 mm cartridge. All of Scaramanga's dealings go through his henchman Nick Nack, which allows Scaramanga to be anonymous.

Auric Goldfinger | FC: Michael Fassbender | Reserved by Kate AA

SMERSH → Gold Smuggler

Goldfinger is a successful businessman, owning many properties throughout the world including "Auric Enterprises, AG" in Switzerland, and a stud-farm in Kentucky called "Auric Stud". However, Goldfinger's real business is that of internationally smuggling gold, using the method of having a car built with gold body castings and transporting it via airplane before having the body-work re-smelted once it arrives at its destination. After Goldfinger's business affairs come under suspicion from the Bank of England, Scarlett Papava is sent to investigate. Goldfinger is also planning to place an atomic device containing cobalt and iodine into Fort Knox, rendering the gold radioactive and useless for 58 years, increasing the value of his own gold and giving the Chinese an advantage resulting from the ensuing economic chaos.

Janus/Alec Trevelyan | FC: Sean Bean | Open

Janus Crime Syndicate → Head of Janus

Once was an agent himself, and even worked with Jackie Giddings to infiltrate an illicit Soviet chemical weapons facility at Arkhangelsk and plant explosive charges. Trevelyan was shot by Colonel Arkady Ourumov, but Giddings stole an aeroplane and fled from the facility as it exploded. Now badly scarred from the explosion at Arkhangelsk. A descendant of the Cossack clans who collaborated with the Nazi forces in World War II, Trevelyan faked his death, having vowed revenge against Britain for their involvement in his parents' deaths.

Independent → Media Mogul/Terrorist

The illegitimate daughter of the British newspaper baron Lord Roverman and a German prostitute, Elise Carver's mother died in child-birth and her father paid a Hong Kong family to take her in. Carver's foster father revealed on his death bed who her father really was. Carver went on to become a TV anchor in Hong Kong until she went to England to notify her father that she knew who he was, and her father tried to bribe her into never coming back. Carver then met an assassin named Stamper and had him follow her father. Stamper discovered that Lord Roverman was having an affair with an American prostitute, and Carver tortured her father with this information until Lord Roverman re-wrote his will to make Carver his sole heir.  Roverman's wife and daughter tried to contest his will as they did not even know of Carver's existence, but Carver won in court and inherited her father's fortune. Carver then went on to start her own company called Carver Media, and began plotting  to provoke a war between China and the United Kingdom, which would lead to the replacement of the current Chinese government with one more supportive to Carver's plans of exclusive broadcast rights. To do this, she sent an American "techno-terrorist" in her employ to purchase a GPS encoder (made by the American military) from a terrorist arms bazaar. Meaconing the GPS signal using the encoder, Gupta sent the British frigate HMS Devonshire off-course into Chinese-held waters in the South China Sea, where Carver's undetectable stealth ship sunk the frigate with a sea drill and stole one of its missiles. Afterwards, Carver's men shoot down a Chinese J-7 fighter jet sent to investigate the British presence, and kill the Devonshire's survivors with Chinese weaponry. M sends Johnston to investigate Carver after Carver Media releases news with critical details of the attacks hours before they have become known, and MI6 notices a spurious signal from one of her communications satellites when the frigate was sunk.

Elektra King | FC: Mila Jovovich | Open

Independent → Socialite/Anarchist

Elektra is the daughter of Sir Robert King, whose mother's side of the family is of Azeri descent and fled the country immediately after the Soviet Union was established. She was kidnapped as a teenager by the terrorist Renard, and her father refused to pay the ransom on the advice of family friend "M". Embittered, she became Renard's lover and participated in his scheme to extort money from her family (going so far as to mutilate her ear so Renard could send it to her father as a warning) but pretended to have been traumatized by the kidnapping. Now ten years later, she is secretly collaborating with Renard to blow up her family's oil pipeline and take over the family oil empire. To throw off Agent 0013's suspicions, though, Elektra has taken a fondness to Cedric Avery, claiming that she wishes to leave Renard.

Renard / Vicktor Zokas | FC: Robert Carlyle | Open

Independent → Anarchist Terrorist

Vicktor Zokas was originally trained by the KGB and served as an assasin during the Cold War until he was expelled due to his mental instability. Afterwards, Zokas adopted the alias "Renard The Anarchist" and became one of the world's most ruthless and feared terrorists. When he abducted billionaire heiress Elektra King, MI6 sent Agent 009 to Syria where he was to kill Renard; 009 ended up putting a bullet in Renard's head. Although a doctor was able to save Renard's life, he could not remove the bullet; as a result, the bullet remained inside his skull and would eventually kill him as it progressed into his brain. But until that point it would render Renard virtually invulnerable, killing off his senses and leaving him immune to pain, allowing him to push himself further than any normal man. During Elektra King's kidnapping, Elektra managed to gain Renard's trust and became his newest ally and lover. After discovering that the same bullet which granted him superhuman abilities would also take his life, Renard had one last mission in life: he vowed to help Elektra get revenge on her father and take over his oil empire. In return, Elektra would help Renard exact his own vengeance upon the women who had sentenced him to death, "M" and Agent 009. After the murder of a close ally of "M"'s, MI6 suspects Renard of being behind the attack, therefore sends 0011 along with partner 0013 to protect Elektra who was predicted to be Renard's next target and dismantle any other plans.
