So I just finished the eighth story. I'm really, really pleased with the story. I was able to return to a bit of my childhood. Through the series I had been skeptical about the Ron/Hermione, Ginny/Harry pairing but throughout this story it was easier to see why the couples made sense. J.K. I glimpsed the old you when I saw you today. I saw the boy that cared about me; the boy that used to love me. I saw your face and for a moment in time I was back where we first began, blinded by love and enraptured by each other’s eyes.
But now I look into the same eyes I used to love and only see an endless gray ocean that I’ll drown in.
Then you looked away, and I was on solid ground, stranded with only my memories to love.

Writing Prompt #466: How They Met - Christmas Edition
1: We both find the perfect Christmas tree at the exact same time and I will fight you for it.
2: Our office is doing Secret Santa and we cheated and found out we’re each others and now we’re trying to top the others present.
3: We’re both heading home for the holidays but our plane ends up snowed in at the airport. You have soft blankets and I have snacks and in the end it doesn’t turn out so bad.
4: My house is literally across the street from your house and every year we get into a giant contest to see who has the best Christmas decorations and I WILL WIN THIS YEAR.
5: You get stuck in your chimney while putting up decorations and I have to rescue you. You want to go back up to save the decorations.
If you rip a hole in a net, there are actually fewer holes in it than before.
So let’s make it clear guys

Don’t believe what you see on the internet, or on the magazines. Not only do they do that kind of thing, but they also use photoshop. You are beautiful and the things that society teach you not to like on yourself are human, and natural.

Writing Prompt #448: Write This Story
“Stop coming in through my window. There’s literally a door right there.”
The fact that people describe going to the second page of Google search results as extremely desperate is a testament to how good their search algorithm is.
“Whoa” expresses awe, and “aww” can express woe
I dare you to write a story in which a character discovers their dreams are an alternate timeline for their own life
Be creative! Are the dreams good or are they nightmares? How does the character realize that the dreams are true in another universe? Does the character ever switch lives? Do they do so on purpose or by accident?
Think outside the box!
