Paintings and illustrations by independent artists, many of which were of women’s faces, were meant to engage with themes of femininity, representation and power. Although Prada’s concepts are never intended to overpower the fashion, this colorful and sports-luxe collection has a much deeper commentary - the clothes and the women who wear them remain the focus of each collection.
