How do you look at BTS and not believe that fate exists when these seven are so clearly meant to be in a group together? Like, imagine BTS not ever taking off, imagine them not fighting as hard as they did after debut, not wanting to push and pursue it anymore. Even one thread could have made the whole thing unravel. There would be no BTS as we know it without the seven men that are in the group now. If anyone else was in the group, the music would be different, performances would be different. Everything would be different. Or not exist at all. I fully believe this group could not exist without any of them.

I just got done watching the Netflix doc (I know, I'm way behind) and it just hit me that I don't think many people understand that while, yes, they are a globally known group, that's not the reason they have a global audience. We all fell in love with the BTS that didn't cater to global (western) pressure. Did I find them partially through Dynamite? Yes, but that's not what made me stay. I became a fan because of who they are as a group, as individuals, and the meaning behind their music. Because their music meant something to me in a time I needed to hear it. I've had discussions with people about K-Pop idols recently and I feel like some people just don't understand what BTS actually symbolizes to people and why they have such a big following. For me, personally, they stand for hope and living life to the fullest. Going through the motions of life, riding the waves of emotions as you grow older, fighting those wars within yourself, and still having hope for a bright future.

Idk man, watching that doc made me feel so many feelings and it made me realize how much I missed their content and the fact that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I just love them ok.
