We don't really need hate speech laws, they only take away freedom but don't provide additional usage. People who say bad stuff will already be rejected by uttering mean words.
And we need freedom because "Conceptual dispute is the substitute for war and death."
If you want war and death, it tells more about you than about the people's opinions you don't want to hear.
